Oman detects the mutated Indian strain of Coronavirus

The Sultanate of Oman TV stated, in a video report, that the Sultanate had detected the Indian “delta” strain of the Coronavirus “Covid-19”, which has a global spread of 60%.
The report stated, according to Al-Roya Omani newspaper, that 10 thousand samples of the Coronavirus were examined daily, arriving at the central public health laboratories in the Sultanate, and the percentage of positive samples was 26%.
The report added that a respiratory illness syndrome was detected in children infected with Coronavirus.
Yesterday, Sunday, the Omani Ministry of Health announced the registration of 46 new deaths from the Coronavirus (Covid-19); raising the cumulative number of deaths from this disease in the Sultanate to 2513 deaths, within 3 days.
The Omani Ministry of Health recorded 4,415 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to 234,634, while the recovery rate reached 90%.
The number of new inpatients in hospitals reached 153, bringing the total number of inpatients to 1180, including 374 in intensive care.
A total of 435,000 and 90 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 as of yesterday, up 12% from the beginning of the national immunization campaign against Covid-19.
ذكر تلفزيون سلطنة عمان، في تقرير مصور، أن السلطنة رصدت السلالة الهندية “دلتا” لفيروس كورونا “كوفيد – 19” التي تبلغ سرعة انتشارها عالمياً 60%.
وجاء بالتقرير، وفق جريدة الرؤية العمانية، أنه تم يتم فحص 10 آلاف عينة من فيروس كورونا تصل يوميا إلى مختبرات الصحة العامة المركزية بالسلطنة ونسبة العينات الإيجابية 26%.
وأضاف التقرير أنه تم رصد متلازمة اعتلال في الجهاز التنفسي لأطفال أصيبوا بكورونا.
وأعلنت وزارة الصحة العمانية، أمس الأحد، تسجيل 46 حالة وفاة جديدة جراء فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19)؛ ليرتفع العدد التراكمي للوفيات من هذا المرض بالسلطنة إلى 2513 وفاة، وذلك خلال 3 أيام.
وسجَّلت وزارة الصحة العمانية 4415 إصابة جديدة بالفيروس، ليرتفع العدد الكلي للحالات المُسجلة في السلطنة إلى 234634 حالة، فيما وصلت نسبة الشفاء إلى 90%.
ووصل عدد الحالات المنوَّمة الجديدة في المستشفيات إلى 153 حالة، ليبلغ إجمالي المُنومين 1180 حالة، من بينهم 374 حالة في العناية المركزة.
وبلغ إجمالي المُطعمّين باللقاحات المُضادة لفيروس كورونا في السلطنة منذ بداية الحملة الوطنية للتحصين ضد كوفيد-١٩ وحتى يوم أمس ٤٣٥ ألفًا و٩٠ شخصًا بنسبة بلغت ١٢ بالمائة.
