The BilAraby Summit, held at Education City’s Student Centre in Doha, has emerged as a powerful platform for celebrating the Arabic language’s role in innovation, identity, and global dialogue.
Over two dynamic days, more than 500 creatives, thinkers, and changemakers from across the Arab world gathered to explore how Arabic can lead conversations in fields like AI, sustainability, medicine, and the arts. Organized by Qatar Foundation under the theme “Ideas Have a Voice and Echo,” the summit featured 20+ lectures and 15 hands-on workshops, engaging minds and hearts alike.
The opening day was graced by Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, who emphasized the importance of fostering creativity and critical thinking in Arabic. Cultural icons like Lotfi Bouchnak and Mustafa Said added depth with musical tributes, while institutions like QatarDebate and Al Jazeera 360 brought innovation and identity to the forefront through youth engagement and digital storytelling.
Beyond the event, BilAraby is a year-round initiative, nurturing Arabic expression across regional programs and digital platforms. As Ahmad Fakhouri put it, “When we speak in Arabic, we awaken our collective consciousness and affirm our identity.”
With bold vision and vibrant voices, the summit proved that Arabic is not a relic of the past—but a language of the future.

في قلب مركز الطلاب في المدينة التعليمية بالدوحة، انطلقت قمة “بالعربي” لتُعلن أن اللغة العربية ليست مجرد تراث، بل أداة حيّة للتجديد، والابتكار، وصناعة المستقبل.
بمشاركة أكثر من ٥٠٠ مفكر ومبدع من العالم العربي وخارجه، شهدت القمة على مدار يومين جلسات حوارية وورش عمل تفاعلية تجاوزت العشرين محاضرة و١٥ ورشة، ناقشت قضايا الذكاء الاصطناعي، الاستدامة، الطب، الإعلام، والفنون—all من منظور عربي.
برعاية مؤسسة قطر، وتحت شعار “للافكار صوت وصدى”، افتتحت القمة بحضور الشيخة هند بنت حمد آل ثاني، التي أكدت على أهمية التفكير النقدي والإبداع باللغة العربية. وتألق نجوم مثل لطفي بوشناق والموسيقار مصطفى سعيد، إلى جانب مساهمات ملهمة من مؤسسات مثل مناظرات قطر والجزيرة 360.
قمة بالعربي ليست حدثاً وحسب، بل امتداد لمبادرة سنوية تنسج جسور التعبير والمعرفة بين المجتمعات الناطقة بالعربية، وتُشجع على إنتاج محتوى عربي يواكب العصر ويحتفي بالهوية.
كما قال الإعلامي أحمد فاخوري: “حين نتحدث بلغتنا، نُحيي ذاكرتنا الجماعية ونُثبت هويتنا ومستقبلنا.”
في “بالعربي”، تتلاقى الأصالة بالحداثة، وتُصبح العربية لغةً للمستقبل لا الماضي.
