Qatar Museums Launches Three Major Exhibitions at Mathaf
متاحف قطر تفتتح ثلاث معارض كبرى في متحف

Doha, Qatar – Qatar Museums has unveiled three new exhibitions at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, running from April 19 to August 9, 2025.
The exhibitions include:

“Qatar: Close to My Soul” – a journey through Qatari art from the 1960s to today, featuring works by Faraj Daham and Jameela Al-Shraim.

“Sites of Imagination” – the first solo museum exhibition for the late Wafa Al-Hamad, highlighting her abstract style and legacy.
-
“Your Ghosts Are Mine” – a powerful showcase of film and video art from the Arab world, Africa, and Southeast Asia, exploring themes of migration and identity.
The opening was led by H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, with several cultural leaders in attendance.

الدوحة – أطلقت متاحف قطر ثلاث معارض جديدة في متحف: المتحف العربي للفن الحديث، من 19 أبريل حتى 9 أغسطس 2025.
تشمل المعارض:
“أنتِ من روحي قريبة” – رحلة في تاريخ الفن القطري من الستينيات حتى اليوم، بأعمال بارزة لفرج دهام وجميلة الشريم.
“جغرافيا الخيال” – أول معرض فردي للفنانة القطرية الراحلة وفاء الحمد، يعرض مسيرتها التجريدية.
“أطيافنا أطيافكم” – معرض سينمائي دولي يتناول الهجرة والهوية، بمشاركة فنانين من العالم العربي وإفريقيا وجنوب شرق آسيا.
افتتحت المعارض بحضور سعادة الشيخة المياسة بنت حمد آل ثاني وعدد من الشخصيات الثقافية.
