Saudi Arabia announces new travel conditions and procedures from Thursday

Doha: The Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Corona Committee, Abdulaziz Al-Daaelj, announced that passenger flight data will be linked to the passenger’s health status through the Tawakkalna app.

Al-Daaelj pointed out that all airlines operating in the Kingdom should quickly link passenger flight data to the “Tawakkalna” app.”The issuance of the boarding pass is limited to passengers whose health status in the application is (vaccinated) or (negative case) as of Thursday,” he said. He stressed that airlines should give passengers on the booking system the mechanism of informing passengers through text messages to cancel their bookings if their health condition is different from the cases mentioned.

The Authority has indicated that entry to airports will only be allowed through Tawakkalna app through three gathering areas upon entry to the airport, including workers, passengers, staff and all airport visitors, at the check-in area, the issuance of a boarding pass and at the aircraft entry area.

In cooperation with the security agencies, the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is working to intensify inspection tours and control visits to airports, the authority’s buildings and facilities, to control violators of precautionary measures, and activated a temperature measuring check point and the application of “Tawakkalna”.

الدوحة: أعلن رئيس الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني في السعودية، رئيس لجنة كورونا، “عبدالعزيز الدعيلج”، عن ربط بيانات رحلات المسافرين بالحالة الصحية للمسافر، عبر تطبيق “توكلنا”.

وأشار “الدعيلج” إلى إبلاغ كافة شركات الطيران العاملة في المملكة بضرورة سرعة ربط بيانات رحلات المسافرين في تطبيق “توكلنا”، على أن “يقتصر إصدار بطاقة صعود الطائرة على المسافرين الذين تكون حالتهم الصحية في التطبيق (محصّن) أو (لم تثبت إصابته)، اعتبارا من الخميس”. وفقا لوسائل إعلام سعودية

وشدد على أن شركات الطيران عليها منح المسافرين على نظام الحجوزات آلية إبلاغ المسافرين من خلال الرسائل النصية بإلغاء حجوزاتهم في حال كانت حالتهم الصحية مختلفة عن الحالات المذكورة.

وأبانت الهيئة أنه لن يسمح بدخول المطارات إلا من خلال استخدام تطبيق توكلنا عبر ثلاث مناطق للفرز عند الدخول للمطار، وتشمل العاملين والمسافرين والموظفين وجميع مرتادي المطار، وعند منطقة إنهاء إجراءات السفر وإصدار بطاقة صعود الطائرة وعند منطقة دخول الطائرات.

وتعمل هيئة الطيران المدني السعودية، وبالتعاون مع الجهات الأمنية، على تكثيف الجولات التفتيشية والزيارات الرقابية على المطارات ومباني الهيئة والمنشآت التابعة لها؛ لضبط مخالفي الإجراءات الاحترازية، كما فعّلت نقطة فرز قياس درجة الحرارة وتطبيق “توكلنا”.
