Saudi Arabia: Circumambulation space allocated only to Umrah performers

Doha: The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced that the Circumambulation space will be allocated only to circumambulation, and prayers will be behind the call-for-prayer room.

In a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency, the presidency stressed the lack of compromise in the application of precautionary measures, noting the holding of obligatory prayers, Taraweeh, eid prayers and night vigil, in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and that the praying areas of the first floor terraces overlooking the Kaaba, the first floor of king Fahd’s expansion in full, the surface and cellar of king Fahd’s expansion, the third Saudi expansion in full with its outer squares, the entire eastern square will be allocated for prayers, and the application of precautionary measures in the praying areas through the placement of indicative posters and the application of the distance of physical spacing, and the sterilization of the chapels before and after each Prayer.

The agency quoted the general presidency as saying that the entry of the worshippers will be through specific points of entry to sort and verify their permits, where it is necessary for the entry to the Grand Mosque to issue a permit to pray from the application of “Eatmarna” and also to highlight the “Tawakkalna” app and “Tabaud” app.

With regard to precautionary measures, the General Presidency indicated that it had developed (14) hypothetical paths for pilgrims circumambulation, allocated the three paths closest to the Kaaba for the elderly and the disabled, the allocation of approximately 5,000 workers to perform sterilization and disinfection around the clock, the application of physical distance through demonstration posters in all praying areas, and the continued lifting of carpets and sterilization of praying areas before and after each prayer.

الدوحة: أعلنت الرئاسة العامة لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي أن صحن المطاف سيخصص للطواف فقط، والصلاة ستكون خلف المكبرية.

وشددت الرئاسة -في بيان نشرته وكالة الأنباء السعودية- على عدم التهاون في تطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية، مشيرة إلى إقامة الصلوات المفروضة والتراويح والقيام وصلاة العيد، في المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي، وأنه سيتم تخصيص مصليات شرفات الدور الأول المطلة على الكعبة المشرفة، والدور الأول من توسعة الملك فهد بالكامل، وسطح وقبو توسعة الملك فهد، والتوسعة السعودية الثالثة كاملةً بساحاتها الخارجية، والساحة الشرقية بالكامل، وتطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية في المصليات من خلال وضع الملصقات الإرشادية وتطبيق مسافة التباعد الجسدي، وتعقيم المصليات قبل وبعد كل صلاة.

ونقلت الوكالة عن الرئاسة العامة أن دخول المصلين سيكون من نقاط تفويج محددة للفرز والتأكد من تصاريحهم، حيث يلزم لدخول المسجد الحرام إصدار تصريح للصلاة من تطبيق اعتمرنا وأيضا إبراز تطبيق توكلنا وتطبيق تباعد.

وفيما يخص الإجراءات الاحترازية، بيّنت الرئاسة العامة أنها وضعت (14) مساراً افتراضيا للطائفين في صحن المطاف، وخصصت المسارات الثلاثة الأقرب من الكعبة لكبار السن وذوي الإعاقة، وتخصيص ما يقارب (5000) عامل وعاملة للقيام بعمليات التعقيم والتطهير على مدار الساعة، وتطبيق مسافة التباعد الجسدي من خلال الملصقات الإرشادية في جميع المصليات، واستمرار رفع السجاد وتعقيم المصليات قبل وبعد كل صلاة.
