China’s Foreign Trade Grew By 1.1% in first ten months of 2020

Beijing: China witnessed a shift in the cumulative growth of foreign trade from negative to positive, with an increase of 1.1% in the period from January to October of this year (during the first ten months).

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce indicated in data published here today that the value of Chinese exports and imports per minute amounts to 60 million yuan, equivalent (about 9.186 million US dollars).

The ministry stated that Chinese foreign trade is registering remarkable growth despite the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, as the country has maintained stability in all of the main businesses of foreign trade, the industrial chain, the supply chain and its share in the international market, which led to the stability of foreign trade and foreign investment in general.

The ministry said China remains the second largest importer with over 230 trading partners in the world. The overall import tariffs fell by 2.3 percentage points to 7.5%, and the proportion of consumer goods imports increased by 2.8 percentage points to 10.6%. The recovery of the Chinese market has driven the turnover of many foreign brands back to the pre-epidemic levels.

China’s total volume of imports and exports is expected to reach 32 trillion yuan (about $4.9 trillion) this year, an increase of 30 percent over the number in 2015.

بكين: شهدت الصين تحول في النمو التراكمي للتجارة الخارجية من سلبي إلى إيجابي حيث بلغت الزيادة 1.1 بالمائة في الفترة من يناير وحتى أكتوبر من العام الجاري ( خلال الأشهر العشرة الأولى ) .

و أشارت وزارة التجارة الصينية في بيانات نشرت هنا اليوم ، أن قيمة الصادرات والواردات الصينية في الدقيقة الواحدة تبلغ 60 مليون يوان أي ما يعادل (حوالي 9.186 مليون دولار أمريكي).

وذكرت الوزارة أن التجارة الخارجية الصينية تسجل نموا بارزا رغم تفشي جائحة كوفيد-19، حيث حافظت البلاد على استقرار في كل من الأعمال الرئيسية للتجارة الخارجية والسلسلة الصناعية وسلسلة العرض وحصتها في السوق الدولي، الأمر الذي أدى إلى استقرار التجارة الخارجية والاستثمار الأجنبي بشكل عام.

وأظهرت البيانات أن عدد شركاء الصين في التجارة الخارجية توسع إلى ما يزيد عن 230 دولة ومنطقة، وحافظت الصين على وضعها كثاني أكبر دولة مستوردة في العالم.. وانخفض معدل الرسوم الجمركية 2.3 نقطة مئوية ليصل إلى 7.5 بالمائة، فيما ارتفعت نسبة واردات السلع الاستهلاكية 2.8 نقطة مئوية لتشكل 10.6 بالمائة من الإجمالي، الأمر الذي جعل قيمة المبيعات لعدد من العلامات الأجنبية تعود إلى مستويات ما قبل تفشى الوباء في السوق الصيني.

وتوقعت الوزارة أن تصل قيمة الصادرات والواردات إلى 32 تريليون يوان (الدولار الأمريكي الواحد يساوي 6.5236 يوان تقريبا) في العام الجاري، بزيادة 30 بالمائة قياسا إلى عام 2015.
