Russian coating increases speed of transporting oil through pipelines

Moscow: Russian scientists have invented a new anti-corrosion material that increases the speed of transporting (oil and gas) through pipelines. The professor at the Department of Chemical Technology at the Technological University of Yakutsk said that the roughness of the pipe coating has decreased today to 3-5 micrometers, which allowed us to increase the maximum speed of gas transportation by 18%, from 8.25 million cubic meters to 9.91 million cubic meters every day.

موسكو: اخترع العلماءُ الروس مادةً جديدةً مقاومةً للتآكل من شأنها زيادة سرعة نقل (النفط والغاز) عبر الأنابيب. وقال البروفيسور في قسم التكنولوجيا الكيميائيّة بجامعة «ياكوتسك» التكنولوجيّة إنّ خشونة طلاء الأنابيب انخفضت اليوم إلى 3 -5 مايكرومترات، الأمر الذي سمح لنا بزيادة السرعة القصوى لنقل الغاز بنسبة 18%، من 8.25 مليون متر مكعب إلى 9.91 مليون متر مكعب كل يوم.
