Forest fires hit again in Syria and Lebanon
حرائق الغابات تضرب مجدداً في سوريا ولبنان

Doha: The fires are one of the most notable incidents of 2020, a year that is so much different from previous years because of the events, phenomena and diseases that have raced each other as a series of science fiction stories.
Fires broke out in forests and grass bushes in various areas of Syria and Lebanon during this year, and the deadly fires returned to destroy the forests of the Syrian coast in Latakia province “Wadi Qandil and Dafil” and other areas extending to Tartous province “Banias” and to Homs province for the second time, in addition to the fires that hit areas corresponding to the Turkish border “Kels and Murtollo”, and the competent authorities and civil defense sought to put out these fires as much as possible.
This disaster caused a fuss on social media through posts and videos related to the fires and the damage caused by both on a personal level, including the affected families who were displaced from their homes and the material and psychological damage suffered on the economic level, especially since the fire came in the annual harvest season, and the damage extended to include the death of many people and the injury of others.

الدوحة: تعتبر الحرائق من أبرز الحوادث التي تمت في عام 2020، ذلك العام الذي لم يكن مشابه لسابقه من الأعوام نظراً لما شهدناه من حوادث وظواهر وأمراض تسابق بعضها البعض كأنها سلسلة من قصص الخيال العلمي.
واندلعت الحرائق في الغابات والاحراج العشبية في مناطق متفرقة في سوريا ولبنان خلال هذا العام، وعاودت الحرائق الفتك بغابات الساحل السوري في محافظة اللاذقية “وادي قنديل ودفيل” وغيرها من المناطق ممتدة إلى محافظة طرطوس “بانياس” ووصولاً إلى محافظة حمص للمرة الثانية، إضافةً إلى الحرائق التي عصفت بمناطق مقابلة للحدود التركية “كلس ومورطلو” وقد سعت الجهات المختصة والدفاع المدني إلى إخماد هذه الحرائق على قدر الإمكانيات المتوفرة.
أثارت هذه الكارثة ضجة كبيرة في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي عبر منشورات وفيديوهات متعلقة بالحرائق والأضرار الناجمة عنها سواء على المستوى الشخصي بما فيها العائلات المتضررة التي نزحت من منازلها والأضرار المادية والنفسية التي تعرضوا لها على المستوى الاقتصادي؛ خصوصاً ان الحريق جاء في موسم الحصاد السنوي، وامتدت الاضرار لتشمل وفاة العديد من الأشخاص وإصابة آخرين.
