China’s Shenzhou-16 Manned Spaceship Launched

Beijing: China on Tuesday launched the Shenzhou-16 manned spaceship, sending three astronauts to its space station combination for a five-month mission.
The spaceship, atop a Long March-2F carrier rocket, blasted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
The crew, consisting of Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao, will witness the dockings of the Tianzhou-5 cargo craft and the Shenzhou-17 manned spaceship, as well as the departures of the Shenzhou-15 manned spaceship and Tianzhou-5.
The Shenzhou-16 astronauts will conduct large-scale in-orbit tests and experiments in various fields as planned.
They are expected to make high-level scientific achievements in the study of novel quantum phenomena, high-precision space time-frequency systems, the verification of general relativity, and the origin of life.
It is the first crewed mission for the application and development stage of China’s space station.

بكين: أطلقت الصين يوم أمس، سفينة الفضاء المأهولة “شنتشو-16″، في مهمة تستغرق خمسة أشهر.
وتم إطلاق سفينة الفضاء على متن صاروخ حامل من طراز “لونغ مارش-2 إف” من مركز “جيوتشيوان” لإطلاق الأقمار الصناعية في شمال غربي الصين.
وسيشهد أفراد الطاقم، وهم” جينغ هاي بنغ، وتشو يانغ تشو، وقوي هاي تشاو”، عملية التحام كل من مركبة الشحن الفضائية “تيانتشو-5” وسفينة الفضاء المأهولة “شنتشو-17″، بالإضافة إلى مغادرة كل من سفينة الفضاء المأهولة “شنتشو-15 وتيانتشو-5”.
وسيقوم رواد الفضاء بإجراء اختبارات وتجارب واسعة النطاق في المدار في مختلف المجالات كما هو مخطط.
ومن المتوقع أن يحققوا إنجازات علمية عالية المستوى في دراسة الظواهر الكمومية الجديدة وأنظمة التردد الزمني الفضائي عالية الدقة والتحقق من النسبية العامة وأصل الحياة.
يشار إلى أن سفينة الفضاء “شنتشو-16” تعتبر ثاني مهمة فضائية لبرنامج الفضاء الصيني المأهول هذا العام، وأول مهمة مأهولة بعد أن دخلت محطة الفضاء الصينية مرحلة التنفيذ والتطوير.
