Four planets approaching the moon in the Qatari sky during August

Doha: The Qatari Calendar House announced that four of the planets of the solar system (Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, and Venus) will meet the moon in the sky of the State of Qatar during August. During the current period, residents of the State of Qatar can see and observe Saturn and Jupiter in the evening sky, while they can see Mars and Venus at dawn.

The Qatari Calendar House stated that on Friday evening, Muharram 14, 1444 AH, corresponding to August 12, 2022 AD, Saturn with its wonderful rings will be located at an angular distance of four degrees arc north of the center of Badr month of Muharram.

Residents of the State of Qatar will be able to observe and see the full moon and Saturn together with the naked eye above the eastern horizon of the sky of the State of Qatar after sunrise of “Saturn” at 18:21 LT until before sunrise on Saturday at 5:06 LT.

On Monday evening 17 of Muharram 1444 AH corresponding to August 15, 2022 AD, the giant planet of the solar system (Jupiter) will be at an angular distance of two degrees north of the center of the moon, and residents of the State of Qatar can observe and see the moon and Jupiter together with the naked eye towards the eastern horizon of the sky of the State of Qatar after moonrise at 20:43 LT on Monday, until before sunrise on Tuesday at 5:08 LT.

The house added that on Friday 21 Muharram 1444 AH corresponding to August 19, 2022 AD, the red planet (Mars) will meet with the last square of the Muharram moon, where the angular distance between Mars and the moon will be approximately 2.7 degrees of arc, and the residents of the State of Qatar will be able to observe and see Mars and the moon together with the naked eye above the eastern horizon after the moonrise time at 23:04 on Friday, and until before sunrise on Saturday.

At dawn on Friday 28 Muharram 1444 AH corresponding to August 26, 2022 AD, the brightest planet in the solar group (Venus) will meet the diminishing crescent of the month of Muharram in the sky of Qatar, and they can be seen together with the naked eye towards the eastern horizon after the time of moonrise at 4:06 at dawn until before sunrise on Friday at 5:12 LT.

The importance of these astronomical phenomena lies in the fact that they are a good opportunity to enjoy seeing and monitoring the conjunction of the planets of our solar system with the Moon at the aforementioned times, in addition to confirming the accuracy of the astronomical calculations used in calculating the orbits of the movement of planets and stars.

It is also a guide for astronomy enthusiasts to learn about the view of the sky during the current month, emphasizing that they are natural phenomena and will not affect the planet, as non-specialists claim.

الدوحة: أعلنت دار التقويم القطري أن أربعة من كواكب المجموعة الشمسية (زحل، والمشتري، والمريخ، والزهرة) سوف تلتقي القمر في سماء دولة قطر خلال شهر أغسطس الجاري، وخلال الفترة الحالية يمكن لسكان دولة قطر رؤية ورصد زحل والمشتري في سماء المساء، بينما يمكنهم رؤية كوكبي المريخ والزهرة في سماء الفجر.

وذكرت دار التقويم القطري أنه في مساء يوم الجمعة 14 من شهر المحرم 1444هـ الموافق 12 من شهر أغسطس 2022م سيقع الكوكب ذو الحلقات الرائعة /زحل/ على بعد زاوي قدره أربع درجات قوسية شمال مركز بدر شهر المحرم، وسيتمكن سكان دولة قطر من رصد ورؤية القمر البدر وزحل معا بالعين المجردة أعلى الأفق الشرقي لسماء دولة قطر من بعد موعد شروق /زحل/ عند الساعة 6:21 مساء وحتى قبل شروق شمس السبت عند الساعة 5:06 صباحا بتوقيت الدوحة المحلي.

أما في مساء يوم الاثنين 17 من شهر المحرم 1444هـ الموافق 15 من شهر أغسطس 2022م سيكون عملاق المجموعة الشمسية /المشتري/ على بعد زاوي قدره درجتين قوسيتين شمال مركز القمر، ويمكن لسكان دولة قطر رصد ورؤية القمر والمشتري معا بالعين المجردة باتجاه الأفق الشرقي لسماء دولة قطر من بعد موعد شروق القمر عند الساعة 8:43 من مساء الاثنين، وحتى قبل موعد شروق شمس الثلاثاء عند الساعة 5:08 صباحا بتوقيت الدوحة المحلي.

وأضافت الدار، أنه في يوم الجمعة 21 من شهر المحرم 1444هـ الموافق 19 من شهر أغسطس 2022م سيلتقي الكوكب الأحمر /المريخ/ مع التربيع الأخير لقمر شهر المحرم، حيث سيكون البعد الزاوي بين المريخ والقمر 2.7 درجة قوسية تقريبا، وسيتمكن سكان دولة قطر من رصد ورؤية المريخ والقمر معا بالعين المجردة أعلى الأفق الشرقي من بعد موعد شروق القمر عند الساعة 11:04 من مساء الجمعة، وحتى قبل موعد شروق شمس السبت.

وفي فجر يوم الجمعة 28 من شهر المحرم 1444هـ الموافق 26 من شهر أغسطس 2022م سيلتقي ألمع كواكب المجموعة الشمس /الزهرة/ مع الهلال المتناقص لشهر المحرم في سماء قطر، ويمكن رؤيتهما معا بالعين المجردة باتجاه الأفق الشرقي من بعد موعد شروق القمر عند الساعة 4:06 فجرا وحتى قبل شروق شمس الجمعة عند الساعة 5:12 صباحا بتوقيت الدوحة المحلي.

وتكمن أهمية تلك الظواهر الفلكية في أنها فرصة جيدة للاستمتاع برؤية ورصد اقتران كواكب مجموعتنا الشمسية مع القمر في الأوقات المعلنة، بالإضافة إلى أنها تؤكد مدى دقة الحسابات الفلكية المستخدمة في حساب مدارات حركة الكواكب والنجوم، وهي أيضا دليل لهواة الفلك للتعرف على منظر السماء خلال الشهر الجاري، مع التأكيد على أنها ظواهر طبيعية ولن تؤثر على كوكب الأرض كما يدعي غير المتخصصين.
