6 محطات جديدة لرصد جودة الهواء

Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in coordination with Hamad Bin Khalifa University, has added (6) new stations to the National Air Quality Monitoring Network, bringing the total number of national network stations to 26, and an initial link has been completed with the ministry to contribute to wider monitoring of air quality in the country.
These achievements reflect the role of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in protecting the environment and as part of the second national air quality management strategy, which contributes to maintaining the quality of the surrounding air in the country in accordance with international standards.
As part of the air quality monitoring project around the main stadiums and the 2022 World Cup training stadiums, Al-Thumama International Stadium and Education City Stadium were added within the stadiums that were covered through the existing “air quality monitoring stations”, and were linked with the Ministry, which will contribute to air quality control in the areas of World Cup stadiums, ensure the best standards of air quality in places of sports activities and various international events and tournaments, especially the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and will the covering of all remaining stadiums will be completed before the start of the tournament.

الدوحة: قامت وزارةُ البيئة والتغيّر المُناخي بالتنسيق مع جامعة حمد بن خليفة بإضافة (6) محطات جديدة للشبكة الوطنية لرصد جودة الهواء، ليصل عدد المحطات الكلية للشبكة الوطنية إلى (26 محطة)، وقد تم الانتهاء من ربط أوَّلي لهذه المحطات مع الوزارة بما يساهمُ في رصد أوسع لجودة الهواء في الدولة.
وتعكسُ هذه الإنجازات دور وزارة البيئة والتغيّر المُناخي في حماية البيئة وكجزء من الاستراتيجية الوطنية الثانية لإدارة جودة الهواء وبما يساهم في المحافظة على جودة الهواء المحيط في الدولة وفق المعايير العالمية.
وضمن مشروع رصد جودة الهواء حول الملاعب الرئيسية وملاعب تدريب كأس العالم 2022، تم إضافة ملعب الثمامة الدولي وملعب المدينة التعليمية ضمن الملاعب التي تم تغطيتها من خلال «محطات رصد جودة الهواء» الموجودة، وربطها مع الوزارة، التي ستسهم في مراقبة جودة الهواء في مناطق ملاعب المونديال، وضمان تأمين أفضل المعايير القياسية لجودة الهواء في أماكن الأنشطة الرياضية ومختلف الفعاليات والبطولات العالمية وخاصة بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022. وسيتمُ الانتهاء من تغطية جميع الملاعب المتبقية قبل موعد انطلاق البطولة.
