اتفاقية بين الهلال الأحمر ومستشفى حمد بقطاع غزة لتأهيل 635 من ذوي الإعاقة

Gaza: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) and HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics in the Gaza Strip signed a cooperation agreement, to implement a project to provide rehabilitation treatment to the poor persons with disabilities in the Gaza Strip, marking the start of the project’s implementation.
The agreement was signed by Head of the Qatari Red Crescent Society’s (QRCS) representation office in Gaza Dr. Akram Nassar and Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director of the hospital Dr. Khalid Abdul-Hadi.
In this context, Dr. Nassar affirmed that the new project works to provide rehabilitation services to 635 poor persons with disabilities who receive rehabilitation services at HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani Hospital in the Gaza Strip, pointing out that the project also includes providing supplies for the installation of prosthetic limbs, a number of wheelchairs and hearing aids, in addition to spare parts for electronic ear shells, at a total cost of more than QR 900,000.
On the importance of the project for persons with disabilities, the Director-General of the hospital Nour El-Din Salah explained that signing this agreement comes in the context of cooperation between the hospital and QRCS to support persons with disabilities, as well as the rehabilitation services provided to them in the Gaza Strip, pointing out that rehabilitating and integrating persons with hearing and movement disabilities into society is one of the hospital’s priorities, which seeks to ensure the continuity of providing these direct services to people with disabilities, in coordination with international institutions.
The QRCS has implemented 71 health projects in the Gaza Strip since 2008, to contribute to improving the quality of health services provided to patients and strengthening the health system there, at a total cost of QR 270 million.

غزة: وقع الهلال الأحمر القطري اتفاقية تعاون مع مستشفى سمو الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني للتأهيل والأطراف الصناعية في قطاع غزة لتنفيذ مشروع توفير العلاج التأهيلي للفقراء ذوي الإعاقة في القطاع، إيذانا ببدء تنفيذ المشروع.
وقع الاتفاقية كل من الدكتور أكرم نصار مدير مكتب الهلال الأحمر القطري التمثيلي في غزة والدكتور خالد عبدالهادي نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب ممثلا للمستشفى.
وفي هذا السياق، أكد الدكتور نصار أن المشروع الجديد يعمل على توفير خدمات التأهيل لفائدة 635 شخصا من الفقراء ذوي الإعاقة الذين يتلقون خدمة التأهيل في مستشفى سمو الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني بقطاع غزة، لافتا إلى أن المشروع يتضمن توفير مستلزمات تركيب الأطراف الصناعية وعدد من الكراسي المتحركة والسماعات الطبية، بالإضافة إلى قطع الغيار لقواقع الأذن الإلكترونية، بتكلفة إجمالية تتجاوز 900 ألف ريال.
وحول أهمية المشروع للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، أوضح السيد نور الدين صلاح، مدير عام مستشفى سمو الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني للتأهيل والأطراف الصناعية، أن توقيع هذه الاتفاقية يأتي في سياق التعاون بين المستشفى والهلال الأحمر القطري لمساندة ذوي الإعاقة ودعم الخدمات التأهيلية المقدمة لهم في قطاع غزة، مشيرا إلى أن تأهيل ودمج الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقات السمعية والحركية في المجتمع يعد من أولويات المستشفى، التي تسعى بالتنسيق مع المؤسسات الدولية إلى ضمان استمرارية تقديم هذه الخدمات المباشرة لذوي الإعاقة.
ونفذ الهلال الأحمر القطري 71 مشروعا صحيا في قطاع غزة منذ عام 2008، للمساهمة في تحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للمرضى، وتعزيز النظام الصحي هناك، بتكلفة إجمالية تصل إلى 270 مليون ريال.
