Qatar participates in Interpol regional meeting
قطر تشارك في اجتماع إقليمي لـ الإنتربول
QNA – Doha:
The State of Qatar participated in a meeting of heads of police agencies in the MENA region, via video conferencing.
The meeting was organized by International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) with the participation of a number of heads of police agencies. Qatar was represented in the meeting by Major General Engineer Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ansari, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Chairman of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee.
The meeting discussed the challenges faced by law enforcement, exchange of countries experiences in combating the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), developing security plans and strategies to address such a crisis and mechanisms of cooperation with the Interpol.

شاركت دولة قطر في اجتماع رؤساء أجهزة الشرطة بدول الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي عن بُعد، والذي نظمته المنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية (الإنتربول) بمشاركة عدد من رؤساء الشرطة.
وقد مثل دولة قطر في الاجتماع اللواء مهندس عبدالعزيز عبدالله الأنصاري مدير إدارة التعاون الدولي ورئيس اللجنة الوطنية لمكافحة الإرهاب.
وناقش الاجتماع التحديات التي واجهتها جهات إنفاذ القانون في ظل جائحة فيروس كورونا «كوفيد – 19» وتبادل تجارب البلدان في مكافحة هذه الجائحة، وأهم الخطط والاستراتيجيات الأمنية للتصدي لمثل هذه الأزمة وآليات التعاون مع الشرطة الجنائية الدولية (الإنتربول).
