Beijing: The Chinese Cyber Security authorities have arrested 103,000 suspects and handed out administrative penalties to 27,000 internet businesses, including personal information infringement and hacking, the Ministry of Public Security said.
Sun Jinfeng, the political commissar of the Bureau of Cyber Security at the Ministry of Public Security, said that all kind of crime is appearing online, and that cybercrime has become one of the major dangers to national data security, the economy and society at large, according to Chinadaily.com
Police nationwide solved 62,000 cybercrime cases last year, helping safeguard security and order online.
Public security organs nationwide also arrested 783 suspects for secretly taking photos or eavesdropping, and seized 4,100 pieces of related equipment and components, according to the ministry.
In addition, 200 cases of ghostwriting were investigated and 2000 suspects arrested. About 6.2 millions social media accounts, 1,200 websites and 170,000 chat groups on social media platforms were shut down.
The police also seized a large number of forged press cards, company seals and business licenses destined for criminal use.

بكين: ألقت السلطات الصينية القبض على أكثر من 103 آلاف شخص مشتبه بتورطهم في أكثر من 62 ألف قضية متعلقة بجرائم الإنترنت خلال عام 2021.
وأفادت وزارة الأمن العام الصينية، في بيان، بأن الشرطة اعتقلت، خلال حملة التصدي للجرائم على شبكة الإنترنت، 783 مشتبها بهم لقيامهم بتركيب أجهزة تنصت أو مراقبة بشكل سري، إلى جانب توقيفها لآلاف المشتبه بهم بسبب أعمال غير قانونية وإجرامية مثل الحذف المدفوع للمنشورات وتزوير إحصائيات للآراء المرجعية على شبكة الإنترنت.
كما ذكرت أنه تم إغلاق أكثر من 6.2 مليون حساب للنشر المدفوع عبر الإنترنت وأكثر من 1200 موقع وفقا للقوانين، مثلما تم القبض على أكثر من 1700 مشتبه بهم لتنظيمهم الغش في الامتحانات باستخدام الإنترنت.
يذكر أن الصين كثفت خلال السنوات الأخيرة من جهودها للتصدي للجرائم الإلكترونية، وللقرصنة على شبكة الإنترنت في ظل الانتشار الواسع لاستخدام آليات الدفع الافتراضي والالكتروني في المعاملات التجارية للشركات وفي الحياة اليومية للمواطنين.
