Social Distancing Stickers Removed from All Over Grand Mosque in Makkah

Makkah: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has begun removing social distancing stickers from the indoor and outdoor corridors, squares and facilities of the Masjid Al Haram (Grand Mosque) in Makkah in line with the recent decision to ease precautionary measures and the resumption of receiving Umrah performers and visitors in the Two Holy Mosques at full capacity.
This was announced by Under-Secretary-General for Tafwij and Crowds Management at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Eng. Osama bin Mansour Al-Hujaili.
Al-Hujaili said that the stickers were placed to help implement physical distancing inside the Grand Mosque in response to the health authorities to confront the emerging corona virus.
The visual identity surrounding the Kaaba was also changed, by replacing the plastic barriers adjacent to the Kaaba with tape barriers, in a measure aimed at receiving visitors to the Grand Mosque at its full capacity.

مكة المكرمة: بدأت الرئاسة العامة لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي إزالة ملصقات التباعد الجسدي داخل المسجد الحرام وأروقته وساحاتها ومرافقه، وذلك مواكبة لقرار تخفيف الإجراءات الاحترازية وعودة الحرمين الشريفين لاستقبال القاصدين والزوار بكامل طاقتهما الاستيعابية.
وأوضح وكيل الرئيس العام للتفويج وإدارة الحشود المهندس أسامة بن منصور الحجيلي، أن الملصقات التي وضعت داخل المسجد الحرام لتعين القاصدين والزوار على تطبيق التباعد الجسدي داخل المسجد الحرام تمت إزالتها ضمن حزمة من الإقرارات والإجراءات والتدابير الوقائية التي اتخذتها الرئاسة العامة لشؤون الحرمين.
من ناحية أخرى، قامت الرئاسة العامة لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي بتغيير الهوية البصرية المحيطة بالكعبة المشرفة، وذلك باستبدال الحواجز البلاستيكية الملاصقة للكعبة المشرفة بحواجز شريطية، حيث جاء هذا الإجراء ضمن مجموعة من الإجراءات التي اتخذتها الرئاسة لاستقبال قاصدي المسجد الحرام بكامل طاقته الاستيعابية.
