Ashghal finishes South Al Wakra Health Center main works

Doha: The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the completion of the major works of South Al Wakra Health Center, implemented by the Building Projects Department to serve about 400 visitors per day as part of the State plan to develop health services.

The South AlWakra Health Center is spread over an area of about 3000 sq m, to provide nine clinics, along with annex buildings such as a mosque, support services building, electrical and mechanical maintenance annex, a garage for ambulances & parking slots for 125 cars

The building design reflects the heritage and culture of Qatar without compromising int’l standards of safety for fire protection, besides 3-star rated GSAS environment standard & the inclusion of next generation technologies in the field of medical equipment.

People with special needs were considers with signage messaging like illustrations and Braille script, & comfortable toilets, wide walkways, auto-sensor doors, convenient reception desks, car parking near entrances & ramps in place of steps.

الدوحة: أعلنت الهيئة العامة للأشغال⁩ عن الانتهاء من الأعمال الرئيسية لمركز جنوب الوكرة الصحي الذي تنفذه إدارة مشروعات المباني لخدمة نحو 400 مراجعاً بشكل يومي ضمن خطة الدولة الخاصة بتطوير الخدمات الصحية.

و يذكر أن مركز جنوب الوكرة الصحي يقع على مساحة نحو 3000 متر مربع ليشمل مبنى رئيسي من مستوى واحد يتضمن 9 عيادات، وبعض المباني الإضافية مثل المسجد، ومبنى للخدمات المساندة ومركز للصيانة الكهربائية والميكانيكية، ومرآب خاص بسيارات الإسعاف إلى جانب 125 موقفاً للسيارات.

وقد تم الأخذ بالحسبان عند تصميم المركز الطبي أن يتسم بالطابع التراثي والقطري وأن تتطابق مع أعلى معايير الأمان العالمية في مجال الحريق فضلاً عن المباني الخضراء والاستدامة بمعدل 3 نجوم. والأهم من ذلك هو أن التصميم الهندسي للمركز الصحي روعي فيه استيعاب التقنيات المستقبلية الحديثة.

وقد تمت مراعاة بعذ النقاط في تصميم المركز الصحي -ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة مثل اللافتات الإرشادية من صور معبرة ورموز طريقة بريل للمكفوفين ودورات مياه ملائمة وممرات واسعة وأبواب آلية ومكاتب استقبال ذات ارتفاع مناسب، ومواقف قريبة من المداخل الرئيسية ومنحدرات بدلاً من السلالم.
