Qatar Announces Monthly Support of 70 Tons of Food for Lebanese Army

Beirut: The State of Qatar on Tuesday announced support for the Lebanese Army with 70 tons of food per month for a year, during the visit of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani to the Republic of Lebanon.
The support comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s constant endeavors to help resolve the political crisis in Lebanon, and its firm commitment to support the Republic of Lebanon and stand by the brotherly Lebanese people, in addition to its firm belief in the importance and necessity of the joint Arab action.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs renewed the State of Qatar’s call on all Lebanese parties to prioritize the national interest, and to expedite the formation of a new government in order to achieve stability in Lebanon.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar’s support to Lebanon, its brotherly people and the Army, praising the role of the Lebanese Army during the Beirut Port explosion crisis.

بيروت: أعلنت دولة قطر، اليوم، عن دعم الجيش اللبناني بـ/70/ طنا من المواد الغذائية شهرياً لمدة عام، وذلك خلال الزيارة التي يقوم بها سعادة الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن آل ثاني نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، إلى الجمهورية اللبنانية.
يأتي هذا الإعلان في إطار مساعي دولة قطر الثابتة للمساعدة في حلحلة الأزمة السياسية في لبنان، والتزامها الثابت بدعم الجمهورية اللبنانية والوقوف إلى جانب الشعب اللبناني الشقيق، بالإضافة إلى إيمانها الراسخ بأهمية وضرورة العمل العربي المشترك.
وجدد سعادة الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن آل ثاني نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، دعوة دولة قطر لجميع الأطراف اللبنانية إلى تغليب المصلحة الوطنية، والإسراع في تشكيل حكومة جديدة من أجل إرساء الاستقرار في لبنان.
وأكد على دعم دولة قطر للبنان وشعبه الشقيق وجيشه، مشيدا بدور الجيش اللبناني خلال أزمة انفجار مرفأ بيروت.
