Qatar Stresses Importance of International Community’s Role in Ending Israeli Attacks

Doha: The State of Qatar stressed Monday the importance of having the international community move urgently to stop the continued Israeli aggression towards the Palestinian people and Al Aqsa mosque.
The State of Qatar renewed its condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ storming into Al Aqsa mosque and its attack on worshipers, saying it provoked the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world and constituted a severe violation of human rights and international conventions.
This came in the State of Qatar’s speech given by HE Director of the International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yousef Sultan Larem at the extraordinary meeting at the level of foreign ministers of member states at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
HE the Director of the International Organizations Department saluted the Palestinian people at the occupied Al Quds for their legendary unarmed struggle against the occupation’s bullets, and their martyrdom for their caus4e and their right to establish an independent state with East Al Quds as its capital.
He noted that the occupied Al Quds and Al Aqsa mosque are witnessing an unprecedented escalation in tensions by the Israeli occupation’s forces, reflected in the increased rate of Judaization and settlements to a level that can only be described as ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and all that is not Jewish by settlers who admitted on camera that they were stealing from Palestinian homes with the Israeli occupation forces watching on, highlighting that a lot of these attacks can be categorized as war crimes.
He added that the arbitrary Israeli bombing of Gaza has led to civilian deaths that included women and children, describing it as a criminal attack that is condemned and rejected, and plays a role in the deterioration of the situation in the occupied Al Quds.
His Excellency renewed the State of Qatar’s firm position of supporting the Palestinian cause, and the rights of the Palestinian people in practicing their religious rights and establishing an independent state based on the borders of 1967 with East Al Quds as its capital.

الدوحة: أكدت دولة قطر على ضرورة تحرك المجتمع الدولي بشكل عاجل لوقف الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المتكررة بحق الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق والمسجد الأقصى المبارك.
وجددت دولة قطر إدانتها بأشد العبارات اقتحام قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي باحات المسجد الأقصى المبارك واعتدائها الوحشي على المصلين، وتعتبر ذلك استفزازا لمشاعر ملايين المسلمين حول العالم وانتهاكا صارخا لحقوق الإنسان والمواثيق الدولية.
جاء ذلك في كلمة دولة قطر التي ألقاها سعادة السيد يوسف سلطان لرم مدير إدارة المنظمات الدولية بوزارة الخارجية أمام الاجتماع الاستثنائي الافتراضي مفتوح العضوية للجنة التنفيذية على مستوى وزراء خارجية الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي.
وتقدم سعادة مدير إدارة المنظمات الدولية بوزارة الخارجية بالتحية لأبناء الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق في القدس المحتلة “لصمودهم الأسطوري وتصديهم بصدور عارية لرصاص الاحتلال وسقوطهم شهداء وجرحى في سبيل قضيتهم العادلة وحقهم المشروع في إقامة دولتهم المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية”.
وأوضح أن مدينة القدس المحتلة والمسجد الأقصى المبارك يشهدان حملة تصعيدية شرسة تقوم بها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، تتمثل في ارتفاع وتيرة التهويد والاستيطان لتصل إلى مرحلة لا يمكن وصفها إلا بالتطهير العرقي ضد الفلسطينيين وكل ما هو غير يهودي من قبل المستوطنين اليهود الذين اعترفوا أمام الكاميرات بسرقة منازل الفلسطينيين تحت سمع وبصر قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مبينا أن هذه الاعتداءات يرقى الكثير منها لمستوى جرائم الحرب.
وأضاف أن القصف الإسرائيلي العشوائي لقطاع غزة، الذي تسبب في سقوط شهداء وجرحى من المدنيين بينهم نساء وأطفال، هو اعتداء إجرامي مدان ومرفوض ويساهم في تأزيم الأوضاع ويصب مزيدا من الزيت على نار الأوضاع المشتعلة في القدس المحتلة.
وجدد سعادته على موقف دولة قطر الثابت من عدالة القضية الفلسطينية والحقوق المشروعة للشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق بما في ذلك ممارسة حقوقه الدينية وإقامة دولته المستقلة على حدود عام 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشريف.
