Early on Friday morning, April 25, 2025, a rare cosmic event will grace the skies: a “smiley face” formation made by Venus, Saturn, and the crescent Moon. This unique alignment, known as a triple conjunction, will be visible before sunrise around 5:30 a.m., weather permitting.
Venus will shine brightly above the eastern horizon, with Saturn just below, and a slender crescent moon beneath them — creating a smiling triangle of light. According to NASA ambassador Brenda Culbertson, this formation is not only beautiful to the naked eye but also enhanced through binoculars or a telescope. Mercury may even peek just beneath the trio for those with a perfect view of the horizon.
The event also coincides with the tail end of the Lyrid meteor shower, making it a perfect moment for photographers and sky lovers.

صباح يوم الجمعة، 25 أبريل 2025، ستبتسم السماء للعالم من خلال مشهد نادر يجمع الزهرة وزحل وهلال القمر في مشهد يُعرف بـ “الاقتران الثلاثي”. هذا الحدث الكوني النادر سيظهر بوضوح قبيل شروق الشمس بحوالي الساعة 5:30 صباحًا، إذا سمحت الأحوال الجوية.
سيظهر كوكب الزهرة لامعًا فوق الأفق الشرقي، يليه كوكب زحل تحته بقليل، ثم هلال رقيق أسفلهم يشكل ما يُشبه “ابتسامة” سماوية. ووفقًا لسفيرة ناسا بريندا كولبيرتسون، فإن هذا المشهد يمكن رؤيته بالعين المجردة، لكنه يبدو أكثر سحرًا باستخدام منظار أو تلسكوب. وقد يُرى عطارد أيضًا أسفل هذا الثلاثي، لمن يملكون رؤية واضحة للأفق.
ويتزامن هذا الحدث مع نهاية زخات شهب “القيثاريات”، ما يجعل من السماء عرضًا مزدوجًا مذهلًا لمحبي التصوير والفلك.
