Shura Council Participates in an International Parliamentary Meeting on Facing Global Challenges

Doha: The Shura Council participated yesterday in a parliamentary meeting on the role of parliaments in overcoming the pandemic and building a better future, held by the International Parliamentary Union via video conference.
Talks during the meeting focused on the best way to continue the economic recovery, and renewing multilateral cooperation in the face of global challenges, including potential pandemics.
The Shura Council was represented by HE Nasser bin Suleiman Al Haider, member of the council.

الدوحة: شارك مجلس الشورى، يوم الأمس، في اجتماع برلماني بعنوان /التغلب على الوباء وبناء غد أفضل: دور البرلمانات/، عقدته لجنة التنمية المستدامة التابعة للاتحاد البرلماني الدولي وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
تركزت المناقشات، خلال الاجتماع، على كيفية تحقيق التعافي للوصول لمرحلة الانتعاش، وتجديد التعاون المتعدد الأطراف لمواجهة التحديات العالمية بما في ذلك الأوبئة المحتملة.
مثل مجلس الشورى في الاجتماع سعادة السيد ناصر بن سليمان الحيدر عضو المجلس.
