Scientists discover hell-like planet

New York: Scientists have discovered a bizarre new planet, where the skies rain rocks and the oceans are made of lava, according to the American “CBS News”. On this hot, scorching planet, which was called “the planet of Hell” and hundreds of light years away from Earth, the oceans consist of molten lava, winds reach supersonic speeds, and rain is made of rocks. Scientists noted that the planet, which floats outside the solar system, is eccentric.

نيويورك: اكتشف علماء كوكبًا جديدًا غريبًا، حيث تمطر السماء صخورًا وتتكون المُحيطات من حمم بركانية، وفق ما ذكرت شبكة «سي بي أس نيوز» الأمريكية. وعلى هذا الكوكب الحار الحارق، الذي أطلق عليه «كوكب الجحيم» ويبعد عن الأرض مئات السنين الضوئية، تتكون المحيطات من حمم مُنصهرة، وتصل الرياح إلى سرعات تفوق سرعة الصوت، ويتكون المطر من الصخور. وأشار العلماء إلى أن الكوكب الذي يسبح خارج المجموعة الشمسية، غريب الأطوار.
