MME Enhance Cooperation in the Field of AQMS
الوزارة تعزز التعاون في مجال رصد جودة الهواء

Doha: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Department of the Environmental Affairs Sector, signed through video conference technology, a number of cooperation agreements with Power International Holding (PIH) Company to enhance cooperation in the areas of air quality monitoring and building a reputation management system.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Environmental Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment Engineer Hassan Bojumhur Al Mohannadi emphasized that these agreements aim to strengthen cooperation in the fields of air quality monitoring, and to build a reputation management system in the ministry, and that according to one of these agreements there will be support for the network of air quality monitoring stations in the ministry as well as providing the ministry an air quality monitoring station according to the best international standards will be installed near one of the stadiums that will host the 2022 World Cup.
He added that the other agreement aims at scientific cooperation in building a “reputation management” system, which is a modern system for developing the Ministry’s operations in line with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, and achieving communication with the public in a professional manner, in accordance with the latest scientific theories and preserving the Ministry’s image.
He stressed that the Ministry promotes, through one of these agreements, an improvement in its reputation management, at the level of environmental sustainability indicators, by designing a reference tool for the components and features of the ministrys reputation, and developing plans and mechanisms for disseminating the components of this reputation at the level of different segments.
For his part, the Vice Chairman and Group CEO of Power International Holding Ramez Al Khayyat, affirmed that these agreements contribute to supporting environmental sustainability in the country, noting that the signing and implementation of such agreements comes within the framework of mutual cooperation with various entities operating in the country.

الدوحة: وقعت وزارة البلدية والبيئة ممثلة بقطاع شؤون البيئة، عددا من اتفاقيات التعاون مع شركة /باور انترناشيونال/ القابضة لتعزيز التعاون في مجالات رصد جودة الهواء، وبناء نظام لإدارة السمعة، وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
وأكد المهندس حسن بوجمهور المهندي الوكيل المساعد لشؤون البيئة بوزارة البلدية والبيئة أن هذه الاتفاقيات تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون في مجالات رصد جودة الهواء، وبناء نظام لإدارة السمعة في الوزارة، وأنه بموجب إحدى هذه الاتفاقيات سيكون هناك دعم لشبكة محطات رصد جودة الهواء في الوزارة وكذلك تزويد الوزارة بمحطة لرصد جودة الهواء وفق أفضل المعايير القياسية العالمية سيتم تركيبها بالقرب من احد الملاعب التي ستستضيف مونديال قطر 2022.
وأضاف أن الاتفاقية الأخرى تهدف إلى التعاون العلمي في بناء نظام “إدارة السمعة” وهو نظام حديث لتطوير عمليات الوزارة التشغيلية انسجاماً مع الخطة الاستراتيجية لوزارة البلدية والبيئة، وتحقيق التواصل مع الجمهور بطريقة احترافية، وفقاً لأحدث النظريات العلمية والمحافظة على صورة الوزارة.
وأكد المهندس بوجمهور أن وزارة البلدية والبيئة تعزز من خلال احدى هذه الاتفاقيات الارتقاء في إدارة سمعتها، على مستوى مؤشرات الاستدامة البيئية، من خلال تصميم أداة مرجعية لمكونات وملامح سمعة الوزارة، وتطوير خطط وآليات لنشر مكونات هذه السمعة على مستوى الشرائح المختلفة، وتطوير ثقافة السمعة على مستوى منسوبي الوزارة وتأهيل مجموعة مختارة منهم ليكونوا “سفراء سمعة”، مع وضع سياسة واضحة لدمج مكونات السمعة في العمليات التشغيلية الداخلية للوزارة، بالإضافة لقياس السمعة بمنهجية علمية، وربط مكونات السمعة بالمحتوى الإعلامي للوزارة، وغير ذلك من الأهداف المهمة.
من جانبه أكد السيد رامز الخياط، نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة “باور انترناشيونال” القابضة ان هذه الاتفاقيات تسهم في دعم الاستدامة البيئية في الدولة، مشيرا إلى أن توقيع وتنفيذ مثل هذه الاتفاقيات يأتي في اطار التعاون المتبادل مع مختلف الجهات العاملة بالدولة .
