MOI arrests one for burglary in Industrial Area shops

Doha: The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation arrested an Arab national for burglary and theft in some shops in the Industrial Area. 

As the Department received complaints about theft in several shops in the Industrial Area, an intensified search and investigation operation was carried out, leading to the accused’s arrest after taking the necessary permissions. 

The arrested person confessed the accusations and said that he used to enter the shops in the area after midnight using different methods and steal money and other valuable items.  

The investigation team found some of the stolen items and the tools he used to carry out the crime at his residence. 

Accordingly, the founded items were taken into custody, and the accused was referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures in this regard. 

The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation calls on shopkeepers to secure their stores properly, install alarm systems, ensure that surveillance cameras function well, and not leave the money in the store.

الدوحة: تمكّنت الإدارةُ العامة للمباحث الجنائيّة من القبض على شخص يحمل جنسيةً عربيةً قام بتنفيذ عمليات سرقة بعددٍ من المحلّات التجارية في المنطقة الصناعيّة. وقالت وزارة الداخلية عبر حسابها الرسمي على «تويتر»: «تعود التفاصيل إلى ورود بلاغات حول تعرّض عددٍ من المحلات التجارية في المنطقة الصناعيّة لجرائم سرقة، وبتكثيف عمليات البحث والتحرّي وبعد أخذ الإجراءات اللازمة، تمّ ضبط شخص من الجنسية العربية».

وبتدوين أقوال المتهم، اعترف بصحة ما نُسب إليه، وأفاد بتنفيذه الجرائم بعد منتصف الليل عبر الدخول للمحلات بطرق مُختلفة، ليتمكّن من سرقة الأموال ومحتويات «الخزن».

وبتفتيش مقرّ سكن المتهم تمّ العثور بحوزته على بعض المسروقات، بالإضافة إلى الأدوات التي يستخدمها في تنفيذ الجريمة، وعليه، تم تحريز المضبوطات، وإحالة المُتهم إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية بشأنه. وأهابت الإدارةُ العامة للمباحث الجنائية، بأصحاب المحلات التجارية بضرورة الحرص على إجراءات تأمين المحلات، التي تشمل وجود جهاز إنذار بالمحل، والتأكد من عمل كاميرات المراقبة، إلى جانب عدم ترك المبالغ الماليّة داخل المحل.
