The most prominent decisions of the weekly cabinet meeting

Doha: HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired Wednesday the cabinet’s regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan.

Following the meeting, HE the Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi said the following statement:

At the outset of the meeting, the Cabinet listened to the explanation provided by HE Minister of Public Health on the latest developments to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and affirmed the continuation of implementing the precautionary measures in order to combat this pandemic. After that, the Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda as follows:

First, Approval to reform the Board of Directors of the Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFC Authority) headed by HE Minister of Commerce and Industry.

Second, the approval of:

1- A draft agreement for mutual inclusion of the lands in the satellite service area between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Turkey, for the satellite networks regulated by Appendices 30 and 30A of the Radio Regulations (RR).

2- A draft agreement for mutual inclusion of the lands in the satellite service area between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Turkey, for the satellite networks regulated by Appendix 30B of the Radio Regulations (RR).

3- A draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of endangered wildlife conservation and preservation of its natural habitat, between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Third, the approval of participating in the Hannover International Industrial Fair (Hannover Messe of the Federal Republic of Germany – from Apr. 12-16, 2021).

Fourth, the Cabinet reviewed the results of the permanent Preparatory Committee at the ministerial level of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority, and took the appropriate decision in their regard.

الدوحة: ترأس معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني، رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية الاجتماع العادي الذي عقده المجلس ظهر اليوم بمقره في الديوان الأميري.

وعقب الاجتماع أدلى سعادة الدكتور عيسى بن سعد الجفالي النعيمي، وزير العدل والقائم بأعمال وزير الدولة لشؤون مجلس الوزراء بما يلي :

في بداية الاجتماع، استمع مجلس الوزراء إلى الشرح الذي قدمه سعادة وزير الصحة العامة حول آخر المستجدات والتطورات للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا /كوفيد-19/، وأكد المجلس على استمرار العمل بما تم اتخاذه من إجراءات وتدابير احترازية في سبيل مكافحة هذا الوباء.

وبعد ذلك نظر مجلس الوزراء في الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال على النحو التالي:

أولا – الموافقة على إعادة تشكيل مجلس إدارة هيئة مركز قطر للمال برئاسة سعادة وزير التجارة والصناعة.

ثانيا – الموافقة على :

1 – مشروع اتفاقية لإدراج وتضمين متبادل للأراضي في منطقة الخدمة الساتلية بين حكومة دولة قطر وحكومة الجمهورية التركية، للشبكات الساتلية التي ينظمها التذييل (30/30أ) من لوائح الراديو.

2 – مشروع اتفاقية لإدراج وتضمين متبادل للأراضي في منطقة الخدمة الساتلية بين حكومة دولة قطر وحكومة الجمهورية التركية، للشبكات الساتلية التي ينظمها التذييل (30ب ) من لوائح الراديو.

3 – مشروع مذكرة تفاهم للتعاون في مجال حماية الحياة البرية المهددة بالانقراض وصيانة بيئتها الطبيعية بين حكومة دولة قطر وحكومة جمهورية طاجيكستان.

ثالثا – الموافقة على الاشتراك في معرض هانوفر الصناعي الدولي (جمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية – من 12 إلى 16/ 4 /2021 ).

رابعا – استعرض مجلس الوزراء نتائج الاجتماع الثالث للجنة التحضيرية الدائمة على المستوى الوزاري لهيئة الشؤون الاقتصادية والتنموية بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، واتخذ بشأنها القرار المناسب.
