Supreme Judiciary Council and NAMA Signs MoU

Doha: The Supreme Judiciary Council and Social Development Center (NAMA), one of the centers under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of supporting the entrepreneurship in the State of Qatar.

The agreement aims to attract and support the largest possible number of entrepreneurs and owners of productive projects in the framework of cooperation between state institutions and in strengthening the role of community partnerships in supporting economic, social and human development.

The agreement includes equipping waiting and rest places (cafeterias) for court visitors that are operated by owners of small and micro enterprises, beneficiaries of the entrepreneurship services at NAMA Center.

The MoU was signed by Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services Affairs Khamis Muhammad Al Kuwari, representing the Supreme Judicial Council and Executive Director of NAMA Saba Muhammad Al Fadala.

Following the MoU signing, 3 restrooms (cafeterias) were opened in each of the Appeal and Cassation court building in Lusail City, the Court of First Instance in the West Bay area and the Criminal Court in Al-Sadd area.

On this occasion, Khamis Muhammad Al Kuwari stated that signing MoU with NAMA center comes in the framework of the initiative undertaken by the Council to support civil community, believing in the role it plays, as a non-profit development institution aimed at capacity building, achieving economic stability for productive families, and promoting social development. The main objective of signing the MoU is to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the fields of social work with an emphasis on the high quality of products and the level of service provided by NAMA Center and from productive families, which will provide the Councils employees and auditors with high-level hospitality services comparable to those provided by the best international restaurants and cafes.

For her part, Executive Director of NAMA Saba Muhammad Al Fadala affirmed that this project is one of the growth accelerator projects (promotion), which is to provide outlets for display and sale for projects that benefit from entrepreneurship services at Nama Center and incubated within a deliberate incubation system, as these projects meet all the commercial health conditions subject to the commercial law in the State of Qatar.

She added that the aim of such programs is to develop the project in all aspects that ensure its continuity and survival in the local market, in addition to the possibility of following up the project activities within the control, financial and sales systems in which the NAMA Center and the donor party participate in a joint cooperation agreement.

She expressed her thanks to the initiative of the Supreme Judiciary Council to grant this opportunity to NAMA Center, which is considered support for the owners of small projects incubated in the center, which in turn will contribute to enhancing their role in the development of the local economy of the state.

It is worth mentioning that the cafeterias work period will coincide with the official working hours in the court buildings of the Supreme Judicial Council, projects will be changed periodically in order to provide the opportunity and support the largest number of projects incubated in the Social Development Center and providing multiple options for court employees and serving litigants.

الدوحة: وقع المجلس الأعلى للقضاء ومركز الإنماء الاجتماعي /نماء/ -أحد المراكز المنضوية تحت مظلة المؤسسة القطرية للعمل الاجتماعي- يوم الأمس، مذكرة تفاهم في مجال دعم ريادة الأعمال في دولة قطر.

وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى السعي لاستقطاب ودعم أكبر عدد ممكن من رواد الأعمال وأصحاب المشاريع الإنتاجية، في إطار التعاون بين مؤسسات الدولة وتعزيزاً لدور الشراكات المجتمعية في دعم التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبشرية.

وتتضمن الاتفاقية تجهيز أماكن انتظار واستراحة /كافتيريات/ لزوار مباني المحاكم يتم تشغيلها من قبل أصحاب المشاريع /الصغيرة ومتناهية الصغر/ المستفيدة من خدمات ريادة الأعمال بمركز /نماء/.

قام بتوقيع مذكرة التفاهم كل من السيد خميس محمد الكواري القائم بأعمال الوكيل المساعد لشؤون الخدمات المشتركة ممثلا عن المجلس الأعلى للقضاء والسيدة صبا محمد الفضالة المدير التنفيذي لمركز الإنماء الاجتماعي /نماء/.

وعقب توقيع مذكرة التفاهم تم افتتاح 3 استراحات /كافتيريات/ في كل من مبنى محكمة الاستئناف والتمييز في مدينة لوسيل والمحكمة الابتدائية بمنطقة الخليج الغربي والمحكمة الجنائية بمنطقة السد.

وبهذه المناسبة قال السيد خميس محمد الكواري إن التوقيع على مذكرة التفاهم بين المجلس الأعلى للقضاء ومركز الإنماء الاجتماعي /نماء/ يأتي في إطار المبادرة التي قام بها المجلس لدعم المجتمع المدني، وانطلاقاً من الإيمان بالدور الذي يقوم به المركز، كمؤسسة تنموية غير ربحية تهدف إلى بناء القدرات، وتحقيق الاستقرار الاقتصادي للأسر المنتجة، وتعزيز التنمية الاجتماعية، والهدف الرئيسي من التوقيع على المذكرة هو تعزيز التعاون بين الطرفين في مجالات العمل الاجتماعي، مع التأكيد على الجودة العالية لمنتجات ومستوى الخدمة المقدمة من مركز /نماء/ ومن الأسر المنتجة، الأمر الذي سيوفر لموظفي المجلس والمراجعين خدمات ضيافة عالية المستوى تضاهي تلك المقدمة من أفضل المطاعم والمقاهي العالمية.

من جانبها، أكدت السيدة صبا محمد الفضالة المدير التنفيذي لمركز الإنماء الاجتماعي /نماء/ أن هذا المشروع يعد من مشاريع مسرعات النمو /الترويج/ والذي يتمثل في توفير منافذ للعرض والبيع للمشاريع المستفيدة من خدمات ريادة الأعمال بمركز نماء والمحتضنة ضمن نظام احتضان مدروس حيث تستوفي هذه المشاريع جميع الشروط الصحية التجارية الخاضعة للقانون التجاري بدولة قطر.

وأضافت أن الغاية من مثل هذه البرامج هو تطوير المشروع من كافة الجوانب التي تضمن استمرارية المشروع وبقاءه بالسوق المحلية، إلى جانب إمكانية متابعة نشاط المشروع ضمن أنظمة رقابية ومالية وبيعية يشارك فيها مركز /نماء/ والجهة المانحة ضمن اتفاقية تعاون مشترك.

وأعربت عن شكرها لمبادرة المجلس الأعلى للقضاء في منح مركز /نماء/ هذه الفرصة والتي تعتبر دعماً لأصحاب المشاريع الصغيرة المحتضنة بالمركز والتي بدورها ستساهم في تعزيز دورهم في تنمية الاقتصاد المحلي للدولة.

الجدير بالذكر أن فترة عمل /الكافتيريات/ ستكون بالتزامن مع ساعات العمل الرسمية بمباني المحاكم التابعة للمجلس الأعلى للقضاء، وسيتم تغيير المشاريع بشكل دوري وذلك لإتاحة الفرصة ودعم أكبر عدد من المشاريع المحتضنة بمركز الإنماء الاجتماعي وتوفير خيارات متعددة لموظفي المحاكم وخدمة المتقاضين.
