Doha: The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting on Sunday, chaired by its Rapporteur HE Ali bin Abdullatif Al Misnad Al Mohannadi.

During the meeting, the committee continued the study of a draft law on mortgaging of movable funds, in the presence of CEO of Qatar Central Securities Depository Misnad bin Abdullatif Al Misnad and legal Expert at Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Fawzy Widatalla, as representatives of QCB.

The committee decided to complete the study of the aforementioned draft law at its next meeting.

الدوحة: عقدت لجنة الشؤون المالية والاقتصادية بمجلس الشورى اجتماعا لها الأمس، برئاسة مقررها سعادة السيد علي بن عبد اللطيف المسند المهندي.

وواصلت اللجنة خلال الاجتماع، دراسة مشروع قانون بشأن رهن الأموال المنقولة، وذلك بحضور السيد مسند بن عبداللطيف المسند الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة قطر للإيداع المركزي للأوراق المالية، والسيد فوزي وداعة الله الخبير القانوني بمكتب محافظ مصرف قطر المركزي، ممثلين عن المصرف.

وقررت اللجنة استكمال دراسة مشروع القانون المذكور في اجتماعها القادم.
