Customs announces the passage of 930 vehicles between Saudi Arabia and Qatar

Doha: The General Authority of Customs announced that the number of vehicles that crossed the Abu Samra border crossing between Qatar and Saudi Arabia during the first three days of opening the port is around 835 exiting vehicles, and 95 entering vehicles , according to statistics of the Land Customs Department of the General Customs Authority.
It is noteworthy that the opening of the land and air borders between Saudi Arabia and Qatar came after signing Al-Ula agreement, which emphasized the unity of the Arabian Gulf.
The process of opening the border witnessed a strong turnout between the two countries, which took place on Saturday, where Saudi customs in cooperation with all government agencies working in the port immediately after the announcement of the agreement to open the skies and land, sea and air borders between Qatar and Saudi Arabia prepared and equipped the port from all technical and operational aspects and completed all preparations and services, in addition to ensuring the availability of all the necessary requirements that achieve the provision of distinguished customs services to all passers-by through it.

الدوحة: الجمارك تعلن عن مرور 930 مركبة بين السعودية و قطرأعلنت الهيئة العامة للجمارك أنه بلغ عدد المركبات التي عبرت منفذ أبو سمرة الحدودي بين دولة قطر والمملكة العربية السعودية خلال الثلاثة أيام الأولى من فتح المنفذ حوالي ، 835 مركبة خلال عملية الخروج ، و 95 مركبة خلال عملية الدخول ، وذلك طبقا لإحصائيات إدارة الجمارك البرية بالهيئة العامة للجمارك .
ويذكر أن تم الاتفاق على فتح الحدود البرية و الجوية بين السعودية وقطر بعد توقيع اتفاق بيان العلا الذي أكد على وحدة الخليج العربي.
وشهدت عملية فتح الحدود إقبالاً شديداً بين البلدين التي تمت يوم السبت ، حيث قامت الجمارك السعودية بالتعاون مع جميع الجهات الحكومية العاملة بالمنفذ فور إعلان الاتفاق على فتح الأجواء والحدود البرية والبحرية والجوية بين قطر والسعودية بتهيئة وتجهيز المنفذ من جميع الجوانب الفنية والتشغيلية وإكمال جميع الاستعدادات والخدمات، إلى جانب التأكد من توافر جميع المتطلبات والاشتراطات اللازمة التي تُحقق تقديم خدمات جمركية متميزة لجميع العابرين من خلاله.
