MME launches beach cleaning campaign to keep plastic at bay
وزارة البلدية والبيئة تطلق حملة لتنظيف الشواطئ وتجنب رمي البلاستيك في البحر

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s General Cleanliness Department and Natural Reserves Department, in co-operation with Seashore Group, has launched an awareness campaign targeting the public about the importance of keeping the beaches clean, and disposing of trash in designated containers.
The innovative campaign involves the use of signage in the shape of fish, containing awareness messages, as well as garbage containers that resemble huge fish. The use of fish-shaped elements highlights the importance of marine life and the damage caused by plastic on the marine environment.

أطلقت إدارة النظافة العامة والمحميات الطبيعية بوزارة البلدية والبيئة، بالتعاون مع مجموعة (سيشور)، حملة توعية تستهدف الجمهور حول أهمية الحفاظ على نظافة الشواطئ، والتخلص من القمامة في الحاويات المحددة.
وتشمل الحملة المبتكرة استخدام اللافتات على شكل أسماك، تحتوي على رسائل توعية، فضلاً عن حاويات القمامة التي تشبه الأسماك الضخمة. ويبرز استخدام عناصر على شكل أسماك أهمية الحياة البحرية والأضرار التي يسببها البلاستيك على البيئة البحرية.
