Amir makes inspection visit to Salwa Beach Resort
صاحب السمو يقوم بزيارة تفقدية لمنتجع سلوى
QNA – Doha:
The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Friday made an inspection visit to the Salwa Beach Resort, located in the southwest of the country on an area of 3.2 million square meters, during which His Highness was briefed on the developments and stages of the project progress.
HH the Amir also inspected the resort’s facilities, which include 115 villas and chalets; a 246-room five-star hotel; aquatic theme park; conference centre; ball room; spa; yacht club and marina; diving centre and a shopping centre. His Highness also viewed the green areas of the resort.
HH the Amir thanked those in charge of the project for their efforts in constructing this tourist facility, and instructed them to expedite its completion and opening in order to meet the marine tourism and leisure needs in the State of Qatar and to support the tourism sector in it.

قام حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، بزيارة تفقدية لمنتجع شاطئ سلوى الواقع جنوب غربي البلاد على مساحة 3 ملايين و200 ألف متر مربع اطلع خلالها على تطورات ومراحل سير المشروع. فقد تفقد سموه مرافق المنتجع، واستمع إلى شرح عما يضمه من فلل ووحدات سكنية (شاليهات) يبلغ عددها 115، وفندق خمس نجوم يحتوي على 246 غرفة، ومدينة ألعاب مائية، ومركز للمؤتمرات، وقاعة للمناسبات، ومنتجع صحي، ومرسى، وناد لليخوت، ومركز للغوص، ومركز تسوق، كما اطلع على المساحات الخضراء بالمنتجع.
وقد شكر سمو الأمير المفدى القائمين على المشروع على جهودهم في تشييد هذا المرفق السياحي، كما وجههم بضرورة الإسراع في استكماله لافتتاحه تلبية للاحتياجات السياحية الترفيهية البحرية في الدولة، ودعماً لقطاع السياحة فيها. رافق سمو الأمير عدد من كبار المسؤولين.
