PSA Completes Public Opinion Poll on Qatar’s NDS-3 Priorities

Doha: The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) announced that it has accomplished the public opinion poll, which stemmed from its keenness to receive the opinions of citizens and residents and give them the opportunity to participate and express their views on the priorities that Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy (NDS-3) should focus on in order to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV-2030).
In a statement on Tuesday, the PSA commended the active and fruitful participation of citizens and residents in this online poll, through which many ideas, feedback, and aspirations were delivered.
In this context, member of NDS-3 Media Team Maryam Al Nuaimi said: “we received very effective, mostly distinguished and constructive, participations that show the keenness of everyone – citizens and residents – to contribute their ideas and aspirations.” “After receiving the participations, PSA formed a Task Team to sort and classify them in line with the main sectors of the strategy. It was noted that the audience participation came from different age groups, and this is the most prominent feature of it,” Al Nuaimi added.
Al Nuaimi thanked everyone who participated and shared their proposals, stressing that all ideas will be studied and evaluated by Qatars NDS-3 Preparation Team.
The opinion poll took place over seven weeks and was conducted by PSA by asking the public about their opinions and aspirations on Qatars NDS-3. The poll was published on PSA’s official social media accounts, sent as an SMS to the public, and presented to the visitors of PSA’s pavilion at the Doha International Book Fair last June. The request was as follows: “share your views and aspirations on Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy via the link below: NDS3 (psa.gov.qa)”

الدوحة: أعلن جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء عن إنجازه لاستطلاع الرأي العام الموجه للجمهور، الذي يأتي في إطار حرصه على تلقي آراء المواطنين والمقيمين وإعطائهم الفرصة للمشاركة والتعبير عن آرائهم بخصوص الأولويات التي يجب أن تركز عليها استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة لدولة قطر من أجل تحقيق رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
وأشاد جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء في بيان له اليوم، بالمشاركة الفعالة والمثمرة من قبل المواطنين والمقيمين في الاستطلاع الإلكتروني والذي تم من خلاله تقديم العديد من الأفكار والملاحظات والتطلعات.
وقالت السيدة مريم النعيمي عضو الفريق الإعلامي في استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة للدولة ، بأن المشاركة كانت فعالة للغاية، مشيرة إلى أن معظمها كانت مشاركات بناءة مميزة تظهر حرص الجميع، مواطنين ومقيمين، على المساهمة بأفكارهم وتطلعاتهم.
وأضافت، بعد تلقي المشاركات قام جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء بتشكيل فريق عمل لفرزها وتصنيفها بما يتناسب مع القطاعات الرئيسية في الاستراتيجية. وقد لوحظ بأن مشاركات الجمهور جاءت من مختلف الفئات العمرية وهذا أبرز ما تميزت به.
وأشادت النعيمي بمقترحات المشاركين، مؤكدة أن كافة الأفكار ستخضع للدراسة والتقييم من قبل فريق إعداد استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة لدولة قطر.
جدير بالذكر أن استطلاع الرأي قد استمر لسبعة أسابيع، ونفذه جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء من خلال توجيه سؤال للجمهور عن آرائهم وتطلعاتهم حول استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة لدولة قطر، حيث نشر السؤال على حساب الجهاز الرسمي في مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بالإضافة إلى إرساله في شكل رسائل نصية للجمهور، وطرحه على زوار جناح الجهاز بمعرض الدوحة الدولي للكتاب في يونيو الماضي. وكان السؤال كالتالي “شاركونا بآرائكم وتطلعاتكم حول استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة لدولة قطر عبر الرابط “استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية NDS3 (psa.gov.qa) “.
