The New York Times reported that the U.S. Presidential Security Service moved President Donald Trump last Friday evening to a secret hideout dedicated to facing any terrorist threat, as a precaution as protests over the death of George Floyd approached the White House.
The reason for the precautionary measure is unclear, the paper said, citing White House officials as saying that President Trump was not at risk.

أفادت صحيفة “نيويورك تايمز” بأن جهاز الأمن الرئاسي الأميركي نقل الرئيس دونالد ترامب مساء يوم الجمعة الماضي إلى مخبأ سري مخصص لمواجهة أي تهديد إرهابي، كإجراء احترازي بسبب اقتراب الاحتجاجات على مقتل جورج فلويد من البيت الأبيض.
وقالت الصحيفة إن سبب اتخاذ ذلك الإجراء الاحتزازي غير واضح، ونقلت عن مسؤولين في البيت الأبيض قولهم إن الرئيس ترامب لم يكن معرضا لأي خطر حقيقي.
