Qatar Charity distributes “Ramadan Supplies” to low-income families

Qatar Charity distributed purchase coupons to low-income and orphan families to purchase enough basic supplies from commercial complexes, as part of its “Mona Ramadan” project, which this year targets 5,600 families, or 28,000 people inside Qatar, to help them during the holy month. 

Most coupons were distributed in the days leading up to the start of Ramadan and continue until the first week of this month.

The distribution process is carried out to the families of orphans sponsored by “Qatar Charity”, widows and low-income families, through well-known community leaders, and several entities, and a commercial complex is contracted to provide the supplies needed by the family, based on these coupons, where the family chooses the necessary supplies.

It is worth mentioning that there are a number of State aid to low-income families, such as “Eid Clothing”, which is expected to benefit 450 children, and “Eidiya alaytam”, a sum of money provided to each orphan sponsored by “Qatar Charity” to make them feel the joy of Eid, and is expected to benefit 450 children, in addition to “Zakat al-Fitr”, which is expected to benefit 500 families for the purpose of facilitating their livelihood on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

قامت «قطر الخيرية» بتوزيع كوبونات شرائية على الأسر ذات الدخل المحدود وأسر الأيتام، لشراء ما يكفيها من المواد التموينية الأساسية من المجمعات التجارية، ضمن مشروعها «مونة رمضان» الذي يستهدف هذا العام 5,600 أسرة بواقع «28,000» شخص داخل دولة قطر، لتعينهم خلال الشهر الفضيل.

تم توزيع أغلب الكوبونات خلال الأيام التي سبقت بداية شهر رمضان، ويتواصل توزيعها حتى الأسبوع الأول من هذا الشهر.

وتتم عملية التوزيع على أسر الأيتام الذين تكفلهم «قطر الخيرية»، والأرامل والأسر ذات الدخل المحدود، عن طريق معروفين ووجهاء من المجتمع، وعدة جهات، كما يتم التعاقد مع أحد المجمعات التجارية لتوفير المواد التموينية التي تحتاجها الأسرة، بناء على هذه الكوبونات، حيث تقوم الأسرة باختيار ما يلزمها من المواد التموينية.

يذكر أن هناك عدد من المساعدات للأسر ذات الدخل المحدود مثل «كسوة العيد» التي ينتظر أن يستفيد منها 450 طفلاً، و«عيدية الأيتام» وهي مبلغ مالي يقدم لكل يتيم من الأيتام الذين تكفلهم «قطر الخيرية» لإشعارهم بفرحة العيد، ويتوقع أن يستفيد منها 450 طفلاً، إضافة إلى «زكاة الفطر» والتي من المنتظر أن تستفيد منها 500 أسرة بغرض التوسعة عليها بمناسبة عيد الفطر المبارك.
