النظام الصحي في قطر الأول بالشرق الأوسط و 13 عالميا
Doha: Qatar’s health system has been ranked 13th best in the world and first in the Middle East by the 2017 Legatum Prosperity Index. The annual index measures and ranks the health of people living in 149 countries.
A comprehensive review process assessed three key measures of the quality of each country’s healthcare system, including basic mental and physical health, health infrastructure, and the availability of preventive care.
Qatar’s health ranking within the Legatum Prosperity Index has risen in the past ten years, advancing from 27th in the world in 2008 to 13th place at present.
“To be ranked 13th in the world is a wonderful endorsement of the quality of care we deliver every day to patients across our health system,” said Minister of Public Health H E Dr Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari.
“The transformation of Qatar’s health system in recent decades has been remarkable. We have made enormous progress in terms of both increasing capacity and advancing the quality of care. The growth has been rapid and rivals any country in the world in terms of the pace of change,” she explained.
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has opened seven new hospitals and numerous specialist facilities since 2011, significantly expanding its infrastructure and the range of services offered to patients.
In the last two years alone, HMC has opened four new hospitals across its Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City Doha campus: the Communicable Disease Center, Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, the Ambulatory Care Center, and the Womens Wellness and Research Center. These new hospitals provide world-class environments in which HMCs skilled clinical teams can deliver care to patients.
“We have invested in those things that matter most to patients. Our dedicated clinical teams at HMC provide rapid access to highly specialized services, delivering more than three million episodes of care to patients each year,” explained Acting Chief Medical Officer at HMC Dr Abdulla Al Ansari.
HMC manages twelve hospitals – nine specialist hospitals and three community hospitals – as well as the National Ambulance Service and home and residential care services. The healthcare provider has sought and achieved accreditation from leading organizations across many areas, demonstrating HMCs ability to deliver high-quality care to patients.
More than a decade ago in 2006, HMC has got the first secured accreditation by the Joint Commission International, and more recently in 2016, it became the first healthcare system across the globe to have all of its hospitals accredited by the JCI under its Academic Medical Center program. It also holds prestigious accreditations for nursing, education and training, and laboratory and pathology, amongst others.
احتل النظام الصحي في قطر المرتبة 13 بقائمة أفضل النظم الصحية في العالم والمرتبة الأولى على مستوى منطقة الشرق الأوسط بحسب مؤشر “ليجاتوم” للرخاء للعام 2017 الذي يقوم بقياس وتصنيف الوضع الصحي في 149 دولة.
ويعتمد المؤشر في قياس جودة أنظمة الرعاية الصحية في كل دولة على ثلاثة جوانب رئيسية تشمل الصحة البدنية والنفسية، البنية التحتية للصحة، وتوافر الرعاية الوقائية.
وأظهر مؤشر “ليجاتوم” للرخاء ارتقاء النظام الصحي في قطر خلال السنوات العشر الماضية، بحيث تقدم من المرتبة 27 عالمياً في العام 2008 إلى المرتبة 13 حالياً.
وفي هذا السياق، قالت سعادة الدكتورة حنان محمد الكواري وزيرة الصحة العامة إن تحقيق المرتبة 13 في العالم يعد إنجازا رائعا يؤكد جودة الرعاية التي يتم تقديمها يوميا إلى المرضى على مستوى المنظومة الصحية في دولة قطر.
وأوضحت سعادتها أن النظام الصحي في قطر شهد تحولا لافتا خلال العقود الماضية حيث تم إحراز تقدم كبير على مستوى زيادة السعة الاستيعابية والارتقاء بجودة الرعاية، مؤكدة ان النمو السريع الذي حصل عاما بعد عام لم يسبق له مثيل في أي دولة في العالم من حيث وتيرة التغيير.
وافتتحت مؤسسة حمد الطبية منذ العام 2011 سبعة مستشفيات جديدة والعديد من المرافق المتخصصة، مساهمة بذلك في توسيع بنيتها التحتية ونطاق الخدمات التي تقدمها للمرضى.
وفي العامين الماضيين فقط، افتتحت مؤسسة حمد أربعة مستشفيات جديدة في مدينة حمد بن خليفة الطبية شملت مركز الأمراض الانتقالية، ومركز قطر لإعادة التأهيل، ومركز الرعاية الطبية اليومية، ومركز صحة المرأة والأبحاث لتوفر هذه المستشفيات الجديدة بيئات من الطراز العالمي لتمكين الفرق الاكلينيكية التي تتمتع بمهارات عالية من توفير الرعاية للمرضى.
ومن جهته قال الدكتور عبدالله الأنصاري الرئيس الطبي بالوكالة في مؤسسة حمد الطبية ان المؤسسة استثمرت في الجوانب الأكثر أهمية بالنسبة للمرضى حيث توفر الفرق الاكلينيكية المتخصصة وصولا سريعا للمرضى لخدمات رعاية صحية عالية الجودة وتقدم الرعاية للمرضى من خلال أكثر من ثلاثة ملايين مراجعة لمرافق مؤسسة حمد كل عام.
وتتولى مؤسسة حمد الطبية إدارة 12 مستشفى من بينها 9 مستشفيات تخصصية و3 عامة، كما تدير خدمة الإسعاف وخدمات الرعاية الصحية المنزلية ومرافق الرعاية المطولة في حين نالت المؤسسة العديد من الاعتمادات من منظمات رائدة في ميادين متعددة مؤكدة قدرتها على توفير رعاية عالية الجودة لمرضاها.
