Qatar condemns attack on Turkish military vehicle

DOHA: Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion that targeted an armoured military vehicle of the Turkish army in the rural area of Batman governorate in eastern Turkey. The explosion killed a number of soldiers and injured two others.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry renewed Qatar’s firm stance that rejects violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, and whatever their source or motives, and stressed Qatar’s solidarity with the Turkish Republic and support for all efforts taken to maintain security and stability in the country.
The statement expressed Qatar’s sincere condolences to the families of the victims, government and people of Turkey and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
أعربت دولة قطر عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للتفجير الذي استهدف ناقلة جنود تابعة للجيش التركي في ريف ولاية باطمان شرقي تركيا، وأدى إلى مقتل عدد من العسكريين وإصابة اثنين آخرين.
وجددت وزارة الخارجية ،في بيان اليوم، موقف دولة قطر الثابت من رفض العنف والإرهاب مهما كانت الدوافع والأسباب، وأكدت تضامنها الكامل مع الحكومة التركية في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحفظ الأمن والاستقرار.
وعبر البيان عن تعازي دولة قطر لذوي الضحايا ولحكومة وشعب تركيا، وتمنياتها للجريحين بالشفاء العاجل.
