Hansi Flick Named Germany’s Coach After Euro 2020

Berlin: The German Football Association announced yesterday that it has signed a contract with Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick to take over the German national team, with the departure of Joachim Loew at the end of the European Nations Cup (Euro 2020).

Flick’s contract in coaching the German national team continues until the end of Euro 2024 in Germany.

Flick was the assistant coach of Joachim Loew in the German national team from 2006 until the team crowned the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The first match for the German team under Flick’s leadership, is scheduled against Liechtenstein next September, in the World Cup 2022 Qatar qualifiers, after that the German team will host Armenia on the fifth of the same month, and then Iceland three days later.

برلين: أعلن الاتحاد الألماني لكرة القدم يوم الأمس، أنه وقع عقدا مع هانزي فليك مدرب بايرن ميونخ، ليتولى تدريب المنتخب الألماني مع رحيل يواخيم لوف عن تدريب الفريق بنهاية كأس الأمم الأوروبية (يورو 2020).

ويستمر عقد فليك في تدريب المنتخب الألماني حتى نهاية يورو 2024 المقررة في ألمانيا.

وكان فليك مدربا مساعدا ليواخيم لوف في المنتخب الألماني اعتبارا من عام 2006، وحتى تتويج المنتخب بلقب كأس العالم 2014 في البرازيل.

وستكون أول مباراة للمنتخب الألماني تحت قيادة فليك، المقررة أمام مضيفه منتخب ليختنشتاين في الثاني من سبتمبر المقبل، ضمن تصفيات كأس العالم وبعدها يستضيف المنتخب الألماني نظيره الأرميني في الخامس من الشهر نفسه، ثم يلتقي منتخب أيسلندا بعدها بثلاثة أيام.
