QRCS Launches Adhahi Project for Year 1444 AH

Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched its annual Adhahi project for the year 1444 AH under the slogan “Humanity First…Your sacrifice makes them happy,” to facilitate the ritual of sacrifice for everyone.

Through this initiative, donations can be made to QRCS which then distributes the sacrifice to the beneficiaries within Qatar and in 18 countries in Asia, Africa, and the Balkans, in cooperation with its global partners.

QRCS’s Acting Secretary-General Society Faisal Mohamed Al Emadi asserted that QRCS seeks to meet and delight people in different countries, especially those countries that suffer from the scourge of displacement as a result of crises and disasters, and perhaps the approaching Eid Al Adha is an opportunity for us to reach the most vulnerable populations, as well as an opportunity for donors to open a door of goodness, as the sacrifice is a ritual of the faith, and it has a positive impact on the community.

The sacrifice project, which QRCS conducts before and during Eid Al Adha every year, is significant because it accomplishes multiple admirable religious and humanitarian purposes.

It makes it easier for those who want to make the sacrifice and spares them the trouble of having to go through the necessary buying, butchering, and distributing processes.

On the other hand, it gives the hungry people in the world the food they need, particularly the meat that is not typically available to them throughout the rest of the year. Thirdly, it promotes initiatives to increase food security and enhance the quality of life for economically disadvantaged families.

الدوحة: أطلق الهلال الأحمر القطري مشروع الأضاحي لعام 1444 هـ تحت شعار “الإنسانية أولا.. أضحيتك تسعدهم”، وذلك بترخيص من هيئة تنظيم الأعمال الخيرية.

و يهدف المشروع إلى التيسير على كل راغب في أداء شعيرة الأضحية، من خلال التبرع بها للهلال الأحمر القطري، الذي يتولى بعد ذلك توزيعها على المستحقين داخل قطر وفي 18 دولة في آسيا وإفريقيا ودول البلقان بالتعاون مع شركائه حول العالم.

وأفاد الهلال الأحمر القطري في بيان اليوم، بأنه تم اتخاذ الترتيبات اللازمة لتوفير الأضاحي التي يتبرع المضحون بقيمتها خلال مدة المشروع، بحيث يتم بعد ذلك ذبحها من الضأن والمعز والبقر وتوزيع لحومها في الأوقات الشرعية المحددة للنحر، وفي صورة حصص غذائية لفائدة 59,736 مستفيدا، منهم 4,476 مستفيدا من الأسر المحتاجة في دولة قطر.

وفي هذا الصدد، أكد السيد فيصل محمد العمادي، الأمين العام للهلال الأحمر القطري بالوكالة أن الهلال يسعى لتلبية وإسعاد الناس في دول مختلفة، خاصة تلك التي تعاني ويلات النزوح واللجوء جراء الكوارث والأزمات، لافتا إلى أن اقتراب عيد الأضحى المبارك يعد فرصة للوصول إلى أشد الفئات حاجة، وفرصة أيضا للمتبرعين لفتح باب من أبواب الخير.

يذكر أن مشروع الأضاحي، الذي ينفذه الهلال الأحمر القطري سنويا قبل وأثناء عيد الأضحى المبارك، يحقق العديد من الأهداف الدينية والإنسانية النبيلة، حيث يسهل على الراغبين في إخراج الأضحية، ويوفر عليهم عناء الإجراءات اللازمة للشراء والذبح والتوزيع، ومن ناحية أخرى يوفر للفقراء ما يحتاجونه من الغذاء، وبالأخص اللحوم التي لا تتوافر لهم عادة خلال باقي أوقات العام.

كما يدعم المشروع جهود تحقيق الأمن الغذائي وتحسين ظروف معيشة الأسر المتضررة اقتصاديا، وفي أداء شعيرة دينية يحرص عليها المسلمون في شتى أنحاء العالم، فضلا عن مساهمته في بث الفرح في القلوب ونشر الإحساس بالأخوة والتضامن الإنساني وحدد الهلال الأحمر القطري آلية تنفيذ المشروع وعملية توفير رؤوس الأضاحي وأسعارها وذبحها وتوزيعها في الدول المستفيدة والتي قسمها لثلاث فئات رئيسية.
