QRCS Receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has received ISO 9001:2015 quality management system (QMS) certification from Bureau Veritas, a world inspection and certification services group, under the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accreditation standards. This certification is a culmination of QRCSs efforts over the past years to pursue the projects included in the Strategic Plan 2021-2024.

In his speech, HE President of QRCS Yousef bin Ali Al Khater said, following his receipt of the ISO certificate in celebration of this occasion “This certification, following intensive scrutiny from one of the Worlds leading accreditation organizations, represents an acknowledgment of QRCSs resourcefulness, proficiency, and ability to deliver on its humanitarian operations around the world”.

HE emphasized their eagerness to contribute to the efforts of the State of Qatar to put national development strategies into effect, while being committed to the best practices and the highest standards of humanitarian quality and accountability, towards the strategic goals and satisfaction of beneficiaries, donors, and partners, by obtaining this prestigious certificate.

“We at QRCS consider this achievement as a further step towards excellence and a motivation to make more successes” added HE “It proves the leading position of QRCS as an active member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement; embodies our vision; builds our competitiveness in attracting more donors and partners; and promotes the good image of QRCS locally, regionally, and internationally”.

HE thanked all staff, supporters and partners for this success, highlighting the need to redouble efforts to achieve further achievements and establish a culture of quality and accountability, thereby contributing to the achievement of the Foundation’s future vision, derived from the Qatar National Vision 2030.

HE President of QRCS Yousef bin Ali Al-Khater noted that the QRCS Plan is always working within the seven core principles of the international humanitarian movement, which is considered to be well established bases on which to build its strategy, in order to achieve the objectives of the institution, the aspirations of Qatari society, and the call of humanity.

Moreover, Country Chief Executive at Bureau Veritas Qatar Hossam Refaey, which awarded the ISO Certification to Qatar’s Red Crescent, said “the ISO team in charge of auditing the certification did not observe any points that did not conform to the required specifications. This is an indication of the great efforts and high interest QRCS officials are paying in their work to achieve the global standards of quality of service provided by the beneficiaries”.

الدوحة: حصل الهلال الأحمر القطري على شهادة الأيزو “9001:2015” في نظام إدارة الجودة من مؤسسة “بيرو فريتاس” العالمية وفقا لمعايير هيئة الاعتماد البريطانية، ما يعتبر تتويجا لجهوده خلال الأعوام الماضية في تنفيذ المشروعات المعتمدة في خطته الاستراتيجية الحالية ( 2021 – 2024 ).

وقال سعادة السيد يوسف بن علي الخاطر رئيس مجلس إدارة الهلال الأحمر القطري، عقب تسلمه شهادة الايزو في احتفال بهذه المناسبة، إن الحصول على هذه الشهادة يعد، بعد الخضوع للتدقيق المكثف من إحدى أكبر الجهات المانحة للشهادات حول العالم، ومن المرة الأولى، وبدون أي ملاحظات تصحيحية، اعترافا بقدرات الهلال الأحمر القطري الكبيرة وكفاءته العالية في تنفيذ مهامه، وتقديم خدماته ومشروعاته الإنسانية حول العالم.

وأكد سعي الهلال الأحمر القطري، من خلال الحصول على هذه الشهادة المرموقة، إلى دعم جهود دولة قطر في تحقيق الاستراتيجيات التنموية الوطنية، مشددا على الالتزام الدائم باتباع أفضل الممارسات القياسية، وتطبيق أعلى معايير الجودة والمساءلة في المجال الإنساني، بما يحقق الأهداف الاستراتيجية، ويسهم في زيادة رضا المستفيدين والمانحين والشركاء.

وأضاف “إننا في الهلال الأحمر القطري، إذ نحتفل بهذا الإنجاز، نعتبره خطوة على طريق التميز، ودافعا لتحقيق المزيد من النجاحات، بما يبرهن على المكانة المتميزة التي يتمتع بها الهلال، كعضو فاعل في الحركة الإنسانية الدولية، ويساعد في تحقيق رؤيتنا، وبناء قدارتنا التنافسية في استقطاب المزيد من المانحين والشركاء، ويعزز من الصورة الإيجابية التي يتمتع بها محليا وإقليميا ودوليا”.

ووجه سعادته الشكر إلى جميع الموظفين والداعمين والشركاء في هذا النجاح، مشددا على ضرورة مضاعفة الجهود لتحقيق المزيد من الإنجازات، وترسيخ ثقافة الجودة والمساءلة، بما يسهم في تحقيق الرؤية المستقبلية للمؤسسة، والمستمدة من رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.

ونوه سعادة السيد يوسف بن علي الخاطر بأن خطة الهلال الأحمر القطري تبقى في العمل دائما ضمن نطاق المبادئ الأساسية السبعة للحركة الإنسانية الدولية، والتي نعتبرها قواعد راسخة يبني عليها استراتيجيته، من أجل تحقيق أهداف المؤسسة، وطموحات المجتمع القطري، وتلبية نداء الإنسانية.

من جانبه، قال السيد حسام رفاعي المدير التنفيذي لشركة “بيرو فريتاس” التي منحت شهادة الايزو للهلال الأحمر القطري، إن فريق الأيزو المكلف بالتدقيق في منح الشهادة لم يلاحظ وجود أي نقاط غير مطابقة للمواصفات المطلوبة، معتبرا هذا الأمر دليلا على الجهود الجبارة والاهتمام العالي الذي يوليه مسؤولو الهلال الأحمر القطري في عملهم لتحقيق المعايير العالمية لجودة الخدمة التي تقدم المستفيدين.
