Vodafone Qatar sets up gaming stand at DHFC

Vodafone Qatar is giving gaming and e-sports enthusiasts a chance to get in gear for the upcoming Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile Open at its Asphalt arcade racing gaming stand, now open at Doha Festival City until August 9.
In June this year, Vodafone and ESL, the world’s largest e-sports company, launched the Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile Open, the first international mobile gaming tournament played on 5G. The tournament is open to players from 17 countries where Vodafone is present, including Qatar.
The competition features the popular online mobile game: arcade racer Asphalt 9: Legends and is expected to draw enthusiasts and casual gamers of all levels.
Online qualifiers for the Asphalt 9: Legends tournament have been taking place in a series of eight separate week-long cups and conclude on September 1.
Qualification is based on ‘fastest time wins’, with four qualifying cup events open for players using either iOS or Android devices. The best players from each weekly cup qualify to participate in the Grand Final at Milan Games Week from September 28 to 29 .
The Grand Final will be contested live over Vodafone’s 5G network, and will truly showcase Vodafone’s high-speed, real-time 5G network for gaming to millions of spectators.

تتيح شركة فودافون قطر لعشاق الألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية فرصة الانضمام إليها للحضور والاشتراك ببطولة الرياضات الإلكترونية الدولية لشبكات هواتف الجيل الخامس «5G» المفتوحة «Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile»، وستجري المنافسات على منصة «Asphalt arcade» للألعاب المفتوحة، والمتاحة حالياً في «الدوحة فستيفال سيتي» حتى 9 أغسطس. وكانت شركة فودافون قطر قد أطلقت بالتعاون مع دوري الرياضة الإلكترونية «ESL» أكبر شركة رياضات إلكترونية في العالم، وذلك في شهر يونيو الماضي من هذا العام، أطلقت بطولة «Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile» هي البطولة الدولية الأولى من نوعها التي يتم التنافس فيها عبر شبكة الجيل الخامس «5G»، وهي مفتوحة أمام جميع اللاعبين في 17 دولة تتواجد فيها «فودافون»، بما فيها دولة قطر.
وسيكون التنافس في هذه البطولة عن طريق إبراز المهارات في اللعبة الشهيرة Arcade racer Asphalt 9» Legends»، ومن المتوقع أن تجذب هذه البطولة المشاركين واللاعبين من كل الفئات والمستويات.
وقد جرت تصفيات بطولة لعبة «Asphalt 9: Legends» عبر الإنترنت، ضمن سلسلة من 8 مجموعات منفصلة، بواقع أسبوع لكلّ منها، وتنتهي يوم 1 سبتمبر 2019، ويعتمد تأهّل اللاعبين على سرعتهم حسب قاعدة «الفوز لصاحب الوقت الأسرع»، وذلك ضمن أربع مجموعات تصفيات نهائية مفتوحة للاعبين من مستخدمي نظام «أندرويد» أو»IOS»، ويتأهل أفضل لاعب من كل مجموعة من المجموعات الأسبوعية للمشاركة، والتنافس على اللقب النهائي، الذي ستقام فعالياته ضمن أسبوع ألعاب ميلانو يومي 28 و29 سبتمبر 2019.
وسيجري التنافس على اللقب النهائي باستخدام شبكات الجيل الخامس من «فودافون 5G»، وستتمكّن «فودافون» من عرض شبكتها المتطورة للجيل الخامس «5G» فائقة السرعة في الوقت الحقيقي، أثناء أداء اللاعبين، وأمام أنظار الملايين من المتفرجين.
