MoPH reports 560 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19)
وزارة الصحة العامة تسجل ٥٦٠ حالة إصابة جديدة مؤكدة بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد-١٩)
The Ministry of Public Health today announced the registration of 560 confirmed new cases of COVID-19 and the recovery of 49 patients, bringing the total number of recovered patients in the State of Qatar to 464.
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar till now stands at 4663 and there are 4192 active cases under treatment.
Ministry conducted 1947 tests in last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 58328 tests.
Most of the new cases of COVID-19 are due to people being in contact with existing cases among citizens and residents and a number of the new cases are among migrant workers.
Some cases of the virus were discovered among citizens and residents who contacted health authorities after experiencing symptoms of inflammation in the respiratory system.
The new infected cases have been placed under complete isolation and they are receiving necessary medical care.
The Ministry of Public Health stated that the noticeable increase in the number of confirmed new cases of infection is due to several reasons, including the fact that the spread of the virus has started to enter into the peak stage, which is the highest wave that affects the country, which may continue to increase for a period before it starts to decline.
It is also due to the steady increase in efforts of the Ministry of Public Health and its medical teams to track the transmission chains of the Coronavirus and conduct intensive and proactive investigations of groups of contacts with people who were diagnosed with the disease previously. This has contributed to the early detection of many cases of infection and reducing the spread of the virus.
The Ministry of Public Health also requests all members of society to stay at home and cooperate fully with all health guidelines and preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection, including sticking to social and physical distancing guidelines. أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة اليوم عن تسجيل 560 حالة إصابة جديدة مؤكدة بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد – 19) وشفاء 49 حالة من المرض ليصل إجمالي حالات الشفاء في دولة قطر إلى 464 حالة.
وأوضحت الوزارة، في بيان لها، أن معظم الحالات الجديدة تعود للعمالة الوافدة حيث أن أغلبيتهم ممن هم في الحجر الصحي بسبب تعرضهم لحالات (كوفيد-19) مؤكَّدة، بينما تعود بعض حالات الإصابة الجديدة الأخرى إلى مخالطين في المنزل أو في العمل لحالات مصابة بالفيروس من مواطنين ومقيمين.
وقد تم إدخال الحالات المصابة الجديدة للعزل الصحي التام لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
وذكرت وزارة الصحة أن الارتفاع الملحوظ لعدد حالات الإصابة الجديدة المؤكدة يعود لعدة أسباب، منها أن انتشار الفيروس بدأ يدخل في مرحلة الذروة أي (أعلى موجة التي تصيب البلاد) والتي قد تستمر في الزيادة لفترة قبل أن تبدأ بالانخفاض.
كما تعود أسباب ارتفاع عدد حالات الإصابة إلى الزيادة المضطردة في جهود وزارة الصحة وفرقها الطبية لتتبع السلاسل الانتقالية لفيروس كورونا وتوسيع دائرة البحث، إضافة إلى إجراء فحوصات مكثفة واستباقية لمجموعات من المخالطين للأشخاص الذين تم تشخيص إصابتهم بالمرض سابقا، الأمر الذي أسهم في الكشف المبكر عن العديد من حالات الإصابة والحد من تفشي الفيروس بشكل أكبر.
ولفتت الوزارة إلى أنه بتسجيل 49 حالة تماثلت للشفاء، يصل إجمالي عدد حالات الشفاء من فيروس كورونا في دولة قطر إلى 464 حالة.
ودعت وزارة الصحة العامة جميع أفراد المجتمع إلى ضرورة البقاء في المنزل وعدم الخروج إلا في حالات الضرورة والحرص التام على تطبيق الإجراءات الوقائية والمحافظة على التباعد الاجتماعي والمسافة الآمنة من الآخرين للتقليل من احتمال إصابتهم بالفيروس.
كما أوصت بزيارة صفحتها الإلكترونية بشكل منتظم للاطلاع على آخر المعلومات والإرشادات المتعلقة بفيروس (كوفيد-19) .
