PM visits Civil Aviation Authority
رئيس مجلس الوزراء يزور هيئة الطيران المدني
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani visited Sunday Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA).
During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on QCAA strategic plans for the civil aviation sector in the State to serve the objectives and aspirations of Qatar National Vision 2030, keep pace with the level of growth witnessed by all sectors of the national economy, and secure the needs of the coming stage with all its obligations and international events.
He also listened to an explanation about the efforts exerted by the Civil Aviation Authority to provide a safe, efficient and flexible flight system, develop contingency plans and seek further growth and development in the aviation industry in Qatar.
HE the Prime Minister stressed the important role of the Civil Aviation Authority in air transport and the security and safety of civil aviation.
The Prime Minister was accompanied during the visit by HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif al-Sulaiti, HE Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah bin Nasser Turki al-Subaey and a number of senior officials at the Civil Aviation Authority.
قام معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، بزيارة إلى الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني.
وخلال الزيارة استمع معاليه إلى شرح حول خطط الهيئة الاستراتيجية في قطاع الطيران المدني في الدولة، بما يخدم أهداف وتطلعات رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، ويواكب مستوى النمو الذي تشهده كافة قطاعات الاقتصاد الوطني، ويؤمن احتياجات المرحلة المقبلة وما تحمله من استحقاقات وفعاليات عالمية.
كما استمع إلى شرح من المسؤولين عن الجهود التي تبذلها الهيئة لتوفير منظومة طيران آمنة، تتسم بالكفاءة والمرونة، ووضع خطط لمواجهة التحديات الطارئة، والسعي نحو المزيد من النمو والتطور في مجال صناعة الطيران في دولة قطر.
ونوه معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية بالدور الهام الذي تقوم به الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني في مجال النقل الجوي وأمن وسلامة الطيران المدني.
رافق معاليه خلال الزيارة سعادة السيد جاسم بن سيف السليطي وزير المواصلات والاتصالات وسعادة السيد عبدالله بن ناصر تركي السبيعي رئيس الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني وعدد من كبار المسؤولين بالهيئة.
