QMC Celebrates Success of World Cup Tournament, National Day Events

Doha: Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) organized on Wednesday a ceremony on the occasion of the success of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and the conclusion of the events of the national day for the state of Qatar 2022.

In his remark during the ceremony, HE CEO of QMC Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al-Thani thanked the wise leadership, the people of the State of Qatar and the residents of the country for the successful organization and hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament, lauding the perseverance and dedication of all workers during the all months of preparation, working hours and media coverage hours that exceeded 19 hours of live streaming on Qatar Television and sports channels, and on the broadcasts of QMC’s eight radio stations speaking Arabic, English, French, Spanish and Urdu.

CEO of QMC expressed his admiration for the honorable image in which affiliates of QMC had portrayed the State of Qatar and the world cup tournament.

In his statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), head of Qatar TV Ali Saleh Al Sada said that the accomplishments made by QMC reflect a joint effort by all affiliates of the corporation with its various sectors, pointing out that all human, technological and logistic efforts were harnessed, in addition to attracting the professionals to come up with an image that best suits the State of Qatar and this global sporting event, as well as the celebrations of the national day which is cherished and loved by the hearts of all.

With regard to the echoes made by the media coverages of QMC, Al Sada said that the hidden media soldiers made evident creativity and innovation, who were actually a pride and support for the institution, adding that what had been accomplished should be taken as a model to build upon it, because the prior stereotype that has been prevalent in the minds of many people outside Qatar was successfully changed, as the entire world saw and celebrated this achievement.

For her part, Supervisor of Urdu Radio at QMC Kholoud Al Hamidi said in a statement to QNA that the Qatar Radio that was established in 1980 has been committed to covering the events in Qatar during this crucial period to convey the voice of the homeland to a substantial category at home, and Urdu speakers from several countries, pointing out that the objective was to communicate the Qatari culture, customs and traditions to these communities, indicating that the percentage of radio followers on social media accounts ranged between 2 million to 3 million followers, while during the events and the promotion of the program to reach out to a larger category, the number of followers exceeded 6 million, and this per se, is substantial paradigm shift, she said.

During the ceremony, the most important stations and accomplishments made by QMC’s TV channels and its various radio stations during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 were reviewed, along with the events of the national day of the State of Qatar.

In addition, a report had monitored the most important accomplishments and the achievements made by Qatar TV, which included hundreds of exclusive broadcasting hours, registered programs, intervals, in addition to monitoring all local initiatives.

The report pointed out that the programs of Qatar TV varied between live and registered broadcastings, where the percentages of live broadcasting reached more than 700 TV hours, while the registered broadcasting hours exceeded 300 TV hours, and through the concerted efforts of all affiliates, the maximum program broadcasting reached a roughly 20 TV hours in a first-of -its -kind challenge.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, other reports were presented pertaining to the coverages made by windows and QMC’s media platforms for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament, which were characterized by quality, and won the confidence of viewers, listeners and visitors of digital platforms.

الدوحة: نظمت المؤسسة القطرية للإعلام يوم أمس، حفلا بمناسبة نجاح بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، واختتام فعاليات اليوم الوطني للدولة 2022.

وتوجه سعادة الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن ثاني آل ثاني الرئيس التنفيذي للمؤسسة ،في كلمة له خلال الحفل، بالتهنئة إلى القيادة الرشيدة والشعب القطري والمقيمين في قطر على نجاح تنظيم واستضافة بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، مشيدا بمثابرة وشغف وإخلاص كل العاملين طوال شهور التحضير وأيام العمل وساعات التغطية التي تجاوزت 19 ساعة بث مباشر في اليوم على كل من تلفزيون قطر وقنوات الكاس الرياضية وعلى أثير إذاعات المؤسسة الثمانية الناطقة بالعربية والإنجليزية والفرنسية والإسبانية والأوردو.

وعزا الدافع وراء إنجاز هذا العمل غير المسبوق في تاريخ المؤسسة القطرية للإعلام من حيث ضخامته الإعلامية ومداه الزمني وطواقمه التنفيذية وأدواته اللوجستية، إلى حب الوطن والثقة في الله وتوجيهات القيادة الرشيدة، بالإضافة إلى كفاءة وطموح الكوادر العاملة بالمؤسسة والقادرين على مواكبة التطوير وتقديم الأفضل دائما.

وأعرب الرئيس التنفيذي للمؤسسة القطرية للإعلام عن اعجابه بالصورة المشرفة التي أظهر فيها العاملون بالمؤسسة دولة قطر وبطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 في أبهى صورة.

من جانبه، قال السيد علي صالح السادة القائم بتسيير أعمال ومهام تلفزيون قطر ،في تصريح لوكالة الأنباء القطرية /قنا/، إن الانجازات التي حققتها المؤسسة القطرية للإعلام تعكس جهدا مشتركا لجميع العاملين بالمؤسسة بمختلف قطاعاتها، مشيرا إلى أنه تم تسخير جميع الجهود البشرية والتقنية واللوجستية واستقطاب المحترفين من أجل الخروج بصورة تليق بدولة قطر وبهذا الحدث العالمي بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، وكذلك باحتفالات اليوم الوطني العزيز على قلوب الجميع.

وفيما يتعلق بالصدى الذي حققته تغطيات المؤسسة القطرية للإعلام، قال السادة، إن جنود الخفاء أبدعوا وكانوا فخرا وسندا للمؤسسة، وأن ما تم تحقيقه ينبغي البناء عليه، حيث أنه تم بنجاح تغيير الصورة النمطية والمسبقة التي كانت في أذهان الكثيرين خارج البلد، وكل العالم رأى واحتفل بهذا الإنجاز.

بدورها، قالت السيدة خلود الحميدي مراقب إذاعة الأوردو بالمؤسسة القطرية للإعلام، في تصريح لـ/قنا/، إن الاذاعة التي تم تأسيسها عام 1980، حرصت على تغطية الفعاليات بالدولة خلال هذه الفترة المهمة، والوصول بصوت الوطن إلى فئة كبيرة داخل قطر والناطقين بالأوردو المنحدرين من عدة دول، مشيرة إلى أن الهدف من ذلك كان الوصول بالثقافة والعادات والتقاليد القطرية إلى هذه الجاليات.

وأوضحت أن نسب المتابعة للإذاعة على حسابات مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تراوحت بين مليونين و3 ملايين من المتابعين، وخلال فترة الفعاليات وتعزيز البرامج للوصول إلى أكبر شريحة ممكنة، فاق عدد المتابعين 6 ملايين، وهو ما يعد قفزة نوعية كبيرة.

وجرى خلال الحفل، استعراض أهم المحطات والمنجزات التي قامت بها قنوات المؤسسة التلفزيونية وإذاعاتها المختلفة أثناء بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 وفعاليات اليوم الوطني للدولة.

ورصد تقرير حول أبرز الإنجازات ما قدمته شاشة تلفزيون قطر، والتي تضمنت المئات من ساعات البث الحصرية، والبرامج المسجلة، والفواصل ورصد لكل المبادرات المحلية.

وأشار التقرير إلى أن برامج تلفزيون قطر تنوعت بين البث المباشر والمسجل، حيث بلغت نسبة البث المباشر أكثر من 700 ساعة تلفزيونية، بينما تجاوزت ساعات البث المسجل حاجز 300 ساعة تلفزيونية، وبتضافر جهود الجميع، وصل أعلى بث برامجي لقرابة 20 ساعة تلفزيونية، في تحد هو الأول من نوعه.

وعلى هامش الحفل، تم عرض تقارير أخرى حول تغطية النوافذ والمنصات الإعلامية التابعة للمؤسسة القطرية للإعلام لبطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، والتي تميزت بالجودة، وحازت على ثقة المشاهدين والمستمعين ورواد المنصات الرقمية.
