Egyptian club announces “readiness to participate in the European Super League”

Doha: Egypt’s Aswan club has announced its readiness to participate in the European Super League, with 12 major European clubs announcing their separation from Champions League, the most famous tournament on the old continent, and the establishment of their new model called the European Super League, led by Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid.
On Monday, the Egyptian club posted, through its official Facebook account, apparently jokingly, a joint photo that combines the club’s logo with the logo of the new European Championship, and captioned it: “We announce our readiness for a new challenge, and to compete in the European Super League.”
The 12 clubs are: AC Milan (Italy), Arsenal (England), Atlético Madrid (Spain), Chelsea (England), Barcelona (Spain), Inter Milan (Italy), Juventus (Italy), Liverpool (England), Manchester City (England), Manchester United (England), Real Madrid (Spain), Tottenham Hotspur (England).
FIFA, for its part, has announced its refusal to hold the tournament outside international football, according to Russia’s website today.
UEFA has also threatened sanctions against all clubs and players who will take part in the proposed European Super League, amounting to “preventing the clubs concerned from playing in any other competition at the local, European or global level, and may deprive their players of the opportunity to represent their national teams.”
Aswan is ranked 12th on the Egyptian Premier League table with 20 points.

الدوحة: أعلن نادي أسوان المصري استعداده للمشاركة في دوري السوبر الأوروبي لكرة القدم، وذلك أن أعلن 12 ناديًا أوروبيًّا كبيرًا، الانفصال عن بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا الأشهر في القارة العجوز، وإنشاء نموذجهم الجديد الذي أطلقوا عليه دوري السوبر الأوروبي، بقيادة فلورنتينو بيريز، رئيس ريال مدريد.
النادي المصري نشر ،اليوم الاثنين، عبر حسابه الرسمي في “فيسبوك”، على سبيل المزاح فيما يبدو، صورة مشتركة تجمع شعار النادي مع شعار البطولة الأوروبية الجديدة، وأرفقها بالقول: “نعلن جاهزيتنا لتحد جديد، وخوض منافسات دوري السوبر الأوروبي”.
والأندية الـ12 هي: ميلان (إيطاليا)، أرسنال (إنجلترا)، أتلتيكو مدريد (إسبانيا)، تشيلسي (إنجلترا)، برشلونة (إسبانيا)، إنتر ميلان (إيطاليا)، يوفنتوس (إيطاليا)، ليفربول (إنجلترا)، مانشستر سيتي (إنجلترا)، مانشستر يونايتد (إنجلترا)، ريال مدريد (إسبانيا)، توتنهام هوتسبير (إنجلترا).
من جهته أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “الفيفا”، رفضه إقامة البطولة خارج إطار كرة القدم الدولية وفقا لموقع روسيا اليوم.
كما هدد الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم “اليويفا” بعقوبات ضد كل الأندية واللاعبين الذين سيشاركون في بطولة دوري السوبر الأوروبي المقترحة، تصل إلى “منع الأندية المعنية من اللعب في أي مسابقة أخرى على المستوى المحلي أو الأوروبي أو العالمي، وقد يحرم لاعبوها من فرصة تمثيل منتخباتهم الوطنية”.
يذكر أن أسوان يحتل المركز الـ12 على جدول ترتيب الدوري المصري الممتاز برصيد 20 نقطة.
