Washington: A recent scientific study conducted by American researchers concluded that certain areas of the brain have a role in controlling diseases and helping to fight infections and viruses, and also treat diseases.
Experts at Harvard University in the US conducted a scientific experiment on a group of mice to understand how the disease affects the body and brain, as they injected them with pathogenic factors that cause inflammation that mimic viral infections that humans are exposed to.
The results showed that these mice get sick in the same way that leads to human disease, where the body temperature changes and suffers from fatigue, lack of fluids, dehydration and loss of appetite, but the continuity of symptoms is controlled by the adaptive property provided by brain neurons, and that some brain neurons are responsible for the body’s resistance and stimulation against various diseases, viruses and infections, specifically with regard to influenza and other pathogens that threaten health.
Scientific research concluded during the study that the brain plays a major role in controlling the symptoms of diseases and reducing their consequences, in addition to the fact that the neurons in it help to understand the disease, control it, and treat its various symptoms.

واشنطن: توصلت دراسة علمية حديثة أجراها باحثون أمريكيون، إلى أن مناطق معينة بالدماغ لها دور في التحكم بالمرض وتساعد على محاربة العدوى والفيروسات وعلاج الأمراض.
وقام الخبراء بجامعة /هارفارد/ الأمريكية بإجراء تجربة علمية على مجموعة من الفئران لفهم كيفية تأثير المرض على الجسم والدماغ، حيث حقنوهم بعوامل ممرضة مؤدية للالتهابات تحاكي الالتهابات الفيروسية، التي يتعرض لها الإنسان.
وأظهرت النتائج أن تلك الفئران تمرض بنفس الطريقة التي تؤدي لإصابة الإنسان بالمرض، حيث تتغير درجة حرارة الجسم ويصاب بالتعب وقلة السوائل والجفاف وفقدان الشهية، لكن استمرارية الأعراض يتم التحكم فيها عبر خاصية التكيف التي تقدمها خلايا الدماغ العصبية، وأن بعض الخلايا العصبية الدماغية، مسؤولة عن مقاومة الجسم وتحفيزه تجاه الأمراض المختلفة والفيروسات والعدوى، وتحديدا فيما يتعلق بالإنفلونزا ومسببات الأمراض الأخرى المهددة للصحة.
وخلصت الأبحاث العلمية خلال الدراسة إلى أن الدماغ يلعب دورا كبيرا في التحكم بأعراض الأمراض والتقليل من تبعاتها، إلى جانب أن الخلايا العصبية فيه تساعد على فهم المرض والتحكم في أعراضه المتنوعة وعلاجها.
