Prime Minister Inspects Central Doha, Al Corniche Street Project

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani inspected on Sunday the latest developments of the central Doha and Al Corniche Street project During the visit, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was briefed on the latest developments of the project and the mechanism of its implementation in a manner that goes in line with the regions infrastructure and public transportation, particularly those pertained to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. His Excellency was also briefed on the beautification and decorating works of central Doha and Al Corniche Street and transforming them into an eco-friendly area.
His Excellency also inspected the green areas, gardens and artworks by Qatari artists that were implemented in the project, as well as the restoration work of archaeological areas.
His Excellency was accompanied by HE FIFA President Gianni Infantino and a number of Their Excellencies the ministers and senior officials.

الدوحة: قام معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، صباح الأمس، بزيارة تفقدية لمشروع تطوير منطقة الدوحة المركزية وشارع الكورنيش.
حيث اطلع معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية على عرض عن آخر تطورات المشروع وآلية تنفيذه بشكل يتكامل ويتماشى مع البنية التحتية في المنطقة ووسائل النقل العامة لاسيما المتعلقة ببطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، إضافة إلى أعمال تجميل وتزيين الدوحة المركزية وشارع الكورنيش وتحويلهما لمنطقة صديقة للبيئة.
كما تفقد معاليه المسطحات الخضراء والحدائق والأعمال الفنية للفنانين القطريين التي تم تنفيذها في المشروع، وكذلك أعمال ترميم المناطق الأثرية.
رافق معاليه خلال الجولة، سعادة السيد جياني إنفانتينو رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم /FIFA/ وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين.
