QRCS Distributes Adahi Meat Provisions to over 190,000 Beneficiaries During Eid Al Adha

Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) announced the completion of its annual Adahi campaign for the year 1443 AH. Under the theme “Give Qurbani to Sustain Good”, the meat of sacrificial animals was distributed to a total of 190,518 beneficiaries in Qatar and 19 Asian, African, and European countries during Eid Al Adha.
In a statement, QRCS explained that sacrificial meat was slaughtered according to the highest Sharia and health standards and distributed to 792 families in Qatar. Internationally, QRCS partnered with Islamic Relief Worldwide, under a bilateral cooperation agreement, to execute Adahi projects in many countries. Also, its foreign representation offices and missions coordinated with the host National Societies in some countries.
QRCS Secretary-General Ali bin Hassan Al Hammadi praised the wide response from clients to contribute to the Adahi Campaign 2022, as evident in the fact that the number of beneficiaries which was 35 percent higher than the target totaling 3,960 beneficiaries in Qatar and 186,558 beyond. The overall cost was QR 3,866,780.
Over the Adahi program’s five years, QRCS successfully attracted many clients in Qatar and distributed fresh and canned meat to beneficiaries at the religiously specified time, while complying with the highest health requirements and international humanitarian standards.

الدوحة: أعلن الهلال الأحمر القطري أن أكثر من 190 ألف شخص في دولة قطر و19 بلداً آسيوياً وأفريقياً وأوروبياً استفادوا من حملة الأضاحي السنوية لعام 1443 هـ التي أطلقها تحت عنوان “تقرب بأضحيتك ليتواصل الخير”.
وأوضح الهلال الأحمر في بيان، أنه تم توزيع لحوم الأضاحي وفقاً لأعلى المعايير الشرعية والصحية على 792 أسرة بالداخل من المسجلة في قوائم المساعدات الإنسانية لديه، بينما جرى تنفيذ مشاريع الأضاحي بالخارج بالشراكة مع ” الإغاثة الإسلامية عبر العالم”، بموجب اتفاقية تعاون بين الجانبين، والتنسيق أيضا بين مكاتبه وبعثاته الخارجية والجمعيات الوطنية في بعض البلدان المستهدفة .
وأشاد سعادة السفير علي بن حسن الحمادي، الأمين العام للهلال الأحمر القطري بإقبال المضحين ومشاركتهم في حملة الأضاحي للعام الجاري، وهو ما تجلى في تجاوز العدد المستهدف من المستفيدين بنسبة 35 بالمائة ليصل إلى 3960 مستفيداً داخل قطر و186558 مستفيداً خارجها ، فيما بلغت التكلفة الإجمالية ثلاثة ملايين و866 ألفاً و780 ريالا قطرياً.
يذكر أنه على مدار 5 أعوام من عمر برنامج الأضاحي ، حقق الهلال الأحمر القطري نتائج متميزة في اجتذاب المتبرعين والمضحين من أهل قطر، وإيصال لحوم الأضاحي الحية والمعلبة إلى مستحقيها في التوقيت الشرعي الصحيح، ووفقاً لأعلى الاشتراطات الصحية والمعايير الدولية المتبعة في العمل الإنساني.
