Zakat Fund Provides More Than QR 11 Million Aid in May

Doha: The Department of Zakat Fund at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs provided aid worth QR 11,154,981 during May.

These aids include periodic and cut aids, all of which are paid by the Department of Zakat Fund for eligible registered families according to standards, Shariah regulations, and approved mechanisms.

Around 275 families eligible for assistance have benefited from these aids within Qatar.

These amounts were distributed between periodic assistance, which is provided on monthly basis, with the amount of QR 8,625,368, and the cut assistance, which is a one-time aid as needed, with the amount of QR 2,529,613.

Zakat Fund provides, through its website (www.zakat.gov.qa), the service of applying for assistance for those who have a file with the fund or those who are applying for the first time. The service also includes the renewal of assistance for those whose assistance is nearing completion.

الدوحة: قدمت إدارة صندوق الزكاة بوزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية مساعدات بقيـمة (11) مليونا و 154 ألفا و981 ريالا قطريا خلال شهر مايو الماضي، تضمنت المساعدات الدورية والمقطوعة، وجميعها مساعدات تصرفها إدارة صندوق الزكاة للمستحقين من الأسر المسجلة لديها وفقا للضوابط والمصارف الشرعية والآليات المعتمدة، حيث استفـادت منهـا 275 أسرة من المستحقين للمساعدة داخل دولة قطر.

وتم توزيع هذه المبالغ على المساعدات الدورية التي تقدم بصورة شهرية للأسر المستحقة بقيمة ( 8 ) ملايين و 625 ألفا و 368 ريالا، والمساعدات المقطوعة وهي مساعدات تصرف لمرة واحدة حسب الحاجة بقيمة (2) مليون و 529 ألفا و 613 ريالا.

الجدير بالذكر أن صندوق الزكاة يقدم عبر موقعه الجديد على الانترنت (www.zakat.gov.qa) خدمة التقديم على المساعدة لمن لديه ملف لدى الصندوق أو يقدم لأول مرة، كما تضم الخدمة تجديد المساعدة لمن قاربت مساعدتهم على الانتهاء.
