Zakat Fund Provides Aid Worth QR 26.4 million During March

Doha: The Zakat Fund, at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, announced that last March it provided aid worth QR 26,448,237, benefiting 3,886 families inside Qatar.

According to a statement by the fund, these amounts included periodic aid and lump-sum aid, all of which are aid disbursed by the fund’s administration to eligible families registered with it in accordance with Sharia regulations; Where the value of the periodic aid provided on a monthly basis to eligible families amounted to QR 9,671,893 riyals, while the value of the lump-sum aid, which is aid given once or more according to the families need, reached QR 6,128, 544.

As for the charity basket aid for the month of Ramadan it reached QR 10,647,800, which the fund has been disbursing every year to eligible families before the holy month to provide for their needs for the month of Ramadan.

The Director of the Zakat Fund Department Jassim Muhammad Al Kubaisi, stated that the Fund is keen to provide the charitable basket assistance annually before the month of Ramadan, and the Fund begins distributing it to the beneficiaries after the middle of the month of Shaban, so that families can buy and provide their needs of food and drink in preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan.

It should be noted that in response to the requests of the public and the beneficiaries and in order to facilitate the procedure, the Zakat Fund opens its doors in two periods during the blessed month of Ramadan, the morning period from 9 am to 1:30 pm, and the evening period from 8:30 to 11:30 pm.

الدوحة: أعلن صندوق الزكاة، بوزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، أنه قدم خلال مارس الماضي مساعدات بقيمة 26 مليونا و448 ألف و237 ريالا، استفادت منها 3886 أسرة داخل قطر.

وبحسب بيان للصندوق، شملت تلك المبالغ، المساعدات الدورية والمساعدات المقطوعة، وجميعها مساعدات تصرفها إدارة الصندوق للمستحقين من الأسر المسجلة لديها وفقاً للضوابط الشرعية، حيث بلغت قيمة المساعدات الدورية التي تقدم بصورة شهرية للأسر المستحقة 9 ملايين و671 ألف و893 ريالا، في بلغت قيمة المساعدات المقطوعة، وهي مساعدات تصرف مرة واحدة أو أكثر بحسب حاجة الأسر، 6 ملايين و128 ألف و544 ريالا، ومساعدات سلة الخير لشهر رمضان بقيمة 10 ملايين و647 ألف و800 ريالا، والتي دأب الصندوق كل عام على صرفها للأسر المستحقة قبيل الشهر الفضيل لتوفير احتياجاتهم لشهر رمضان وصرح السيد جاسم محمد الكبيسي مدير إدارة صندوق الزكاة أن الصندوق يحرص سنوياً على تقديم مساعدات سلة الخير قبيل شهر رمضان، ويبدأ الصندوق بتوزيعها على المستحقين بعد منتصف شهر شعبان، لتتمكن الأسر من شراء وتوفير احتياجاتها من المأكل والمشرب استعداداً لدخول شهر رمضان المبارك.

وحث مدير إدارة صندوق الزكاة كافة الشركات والأفراد على أداء حق الله تعالى في أموالهم وأن يقدموا زكاة أموالهم طيبة بها أنفسهم ليضاعف الله لهم الأجور ويبارك لهم في أموالهم وأولادهم وتطهر نفوسهم بأداء الركن الثالث من أركان الإسلام (فريضة الزكاة)، وبخاصة ونحن في شهر رمضان الذي تضاعف فيه الأجور.

تجدر الإشارة أنه تلبية لطلبات الجمهور من المزكين والمستحقين وتيسيراً عليهم فإن صندوق الزكاة يفتح أبوابه أمام الجمهور على فترتين خلال شهر رمضان المبارك الفترة الصباحية من 9 صباحاً حتى 1:30 ظهراً، والفترة المسائية من 8:30 حتى11:30 مساءً.
