Closure of eastbound carriageway on main bridge at Al Mazrouah Interchange on Al Shamal Rd.
إغلاق المسار الشرقي على الجسر الرئيسي لتقاطع المزروعة بطريق الشمال
The proposed road closure has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and will remain in place for two (2) months.
The eastbound carriageway on Al Mazrouah Interchange main bridge will be closed for a distance of two (2) kilometers and traffic will be shifted to the westbound carriageway were the lanes will be adjusted to accommodate movements in both directions.
In addition, the roundabout located to the east of Al Mazrouah Interchange bridge will be slightly relocated though all existing traffic movements will be maintained as shown on the attached map.
During this period, road users travelling eastbound on Salwa Road heading towards:
- Doha will be required to use the first exit on the roundabout (west of Al Mazourah Interchange) and follow signs along the new temporary road to reach Al Shamal Road and continue their journey
- Al Ruwais will be shifted on to the westbound carriageway Al Mazrouah Interchange main bridge, and then be required to make a U-turn at the temporary roundabout (east of Al Mazrouah Interchange) to continue their journey northbound along Al Shamal Road
- Lusail will be shifted on to the westbound carriageway of Al Mazrouah Interchange main bridge and should continue straight once they reach the new temporary roundabout to reach their destination
Road users travelling from the Umm Slal area wishing to access Umm Slal Health Centre and the Girls’ school are advised to use the south access of the Woqod petrol station as an alternative to the southbound lanes of Al Shamal service road
Ashghal will install road signs providing motorists with advance notice of the new road layout and request that all road users to abide by the posted speed limit and to ensure their safety.
Mazrouah Interchange is scheduled to open for public use by Q4 2018 and will increasing lane capacity from three (3) to five (5) in each direction, and enhance travel efficiency to Al Shamal, Al Ruwais, Lusail and Salwa Road.
تنفذ هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” تحويلة مرورية لمدة شهرين بتقاطع المزروعة بطريق الشمال اعتبارا من يوم الجمعة 8 يونيو 2018 بهدف استكمال الأعمال الإنشائية لتقاطع متعدد مستويات ضمن أعمال مشروع الطريق المداري الجديد وطريق الشاحنات، ويأتي ذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وخلال فترة التغيير المروري، سيتم إغلاق المسار الشرقي على الجسر الرئيسي لتقاطع المزروعة لمسافة 2 كيلومتر أمام القادمين من طريق سلوى باتجاه لوسيل ونقل الحركة المرورية إلى المسارالغربي من لوسيل في اتجاه طريق سلوى حيث سيتم تعديله لاستيعاب الحركة في كلا الاتجاهين.
كما سيتم إزاحة الدوار المؤقت في الجهة الشرقية من جسر تقاطع المزروعة عدة أمتار، مع الحفاظ على الحركة المرورية الحالية، كما هو موضح بالخريطة المرفقة.
وخلال هذه الفترة، يستطيع مستخدمو الطريق المتجهون شرقًا من طريق سلوى نحو:
- الدوحة استخدام المخرج الاول على الدوار (غرب تقاطع المزروعة) واتباع اللافتات على طول الطريق المؤقت الجديد للوصول الى طريق الشمال واستكمال رحلتهم.
- الرويس استخدام المسار الغربي على الجسر الرئيسي لتقاطع المزروعة، ومن ثم الالتفاف حول الدوار المؤقت (شرق تقاطع المزروعة) ومواصلة رحلتهم شمالاً على طريق الشمال.
- لوسيل استخدام المسار الغربي على الجسر الرئيسي لتقاطع المزروعة ومواصلة رحلتهم مباشرةً عند الدوار المؤقت للوصول الى الوجهة المطلوبة.
ويستطيع القادمون من منطقة أم صلال والمتجهون إلى مدرسة البنات أو مركز أم صلال الصحي استخدام المدخل الجنوبي لمحطة وقود أم صلال بدلا من طريق الخدمات الجنوبي لطريق الشمال، كما هو مبين بالخريطة المرفقة.
وستقوم أشغال بتثبيت الإرشادات واللوحات المرورية اللازمة لتنبيه السائقين، مشددة على ضرورة التزام مستخدمي الطريق بالسرعات المقررة واتباع اللافتات لضمان سلامتهم.
ومن المقرر الانتهاء من أعمال التقاطع بالكامل في الربع الرابع من 2018 حيث سيحتوي التقاطع الجديد على 5 مسارات في كل اتجاه بدلا من 3 مسارات والتي ستعمل على زيادة السعة المرورية للتقاطع فضلا عن تعزيزالحركة المرورية إلى الشمال والرويس ولوسيل وطريق سلوى.
