Japanese designer Kenzo dies of Coronavirus

Paris: Japan’s most famous fashion designer Kenzo Takada has died at the age of 81 of the new coronavirus, a spokesman said. Kenzo was the first Japanese designer to leave his mark in Paris, where he made his entire career. The designer, who sold his brand to the LVMH group in 1993 and retired six years later, is best known for graphic and floral drawings. His spokesman said in a statement «Kenzo Takada died Sunday, October 4, 2020 in the American hospital of Noye-sur-Seine as a result of his Covid-19 infection while the Fashion Week is being held in Paris.

باريس: توفي أشهر مصممي الأزياء اليابانيين كنزو تاكادا عن 81 عامًا بفيروس كورونا المستجد، وفق ما أعلن ناطق باسمه. وكان كنزو أول مصمم ياباني يترك بصمته في باريس حيث صنع حياته المهنية بالكامل. واشتهر المصمم الذي باع علامته التجارية لمجموعة «إل في إم اتش» في العام 1993 وتقاعد بعد ست سنوات من ذلك، برسوم غرافيك ورسوم للزهور. وقال الناطق باسمه في بيان «توفي كنزو تاكادا الأحد 4 أكتوبر 2020 في مستشفى نويي-سور-سين الأمريكي نتيجة إصابته بكوفيد-19» فيما يقام أسبوع الموضة في باريس.
