Awqaf Announces Registration for 8th Edition of “Small Muhaddith” Competition

Doha: The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs announced the start of registration for the eighth edition of the “Small Muhaddith” competition 2022, which is organized by the General Administration of Endowments in cooperation with Jassim bin Hamad Secondary School for Boys, and under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The General Administration of Endowments has allocated QR1.5 million for the winners of the competition, subject to increase if the number of winners requires so, and the prizes vary to motivate the winners and encourage the participants.

Participation forms can be downloaded and registration can begin on the new website of the competition starting Tuesday, with the last day for registration to be March 20, 2022.

In a press conference on this occasion, HE Director-General of the General Administration of Endowments Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Thani stated that the competition aims to instill the love of the Prophet in the hearts of the participants and introduce noble morals, in addition to providing them with the skills of public speaking, rhetoric, and eloquence.

He added that the competition witnessed a large turnout last year, whether from public or private schools, and the turnout was not limited to male and female students only, but also included parents, and the number of participating schools reached about 380 schools, with more than 2,500 participants, of whom more than 1,400 participants won.

He also pointed out the possibility of expanding the competition in the future to become international, because it targets a specific category, which is the category of students.

The competition targets male and female students and parents in all schools in the State of Qatar, taking into account their age groups, so it has several branches and focused on the hadiths that included the principles of religion, such as belief, rulings, and noble morals.

To participate in the male and female category, the student must be registered in one of the schools operating in the State of Qatar, whether governmental or private, for the three stages, and the school must participate with a maximum of 12 students, besides preparing and equipping the students applying for the competition and ensuring their readiness for the competition. Any student from any stage of study may apply to any level he wishes to participate in without being restricted to the study stage. Winners in one of the levels can not participate in the same level, but to participate in a higher level.

To participate in the category of parents, it is required that the participant be the guardian of a student registered in one of the schools in the country, whether governmental or private (boys – girls) for the three stages. Parents may participate, whether the father or mother or both and the number of participants in each school does not exceed 15 male and female guardians.

The competition for male and female students includes five levels, the first level: memorizing 20 hadiths, the second level: memorizing 30 hadiths, the third level: memorizing 40 hadiths, the fourth level: Memorizing 50 hadiths, fifth level “The Elite” memorizing the book of Bulugh Al-Maram Min Adillat Al-Ahkam by Imam Ibn Hajr Asqalani.

As for the parents’ category, it includes two levels: memorizing 50 hadiths for those who do not work as an imam at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs or a teacher of Sharia sciences in country schools, and the second level is the book of Bulugh Al-Maram Min Adillat Al-Ahkam by Imam Ibn Hajr Asqalani.

The first edition of the competition, which was in 2013, witnessed the participation of 18 students from 18 schools, while last year’s edition witnessed more than 2,500 participants from about 380 schools, of which more than 1,400 participants won competition prizes. It witnessed a huge turnout of parents. It is expected that the number of participants in this year’s edition will reach more than 3,000 participants.

أعلنت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، اليوم، بدء التسجيل في النسخة الثامنة من مسابقة /المحدث الصغير/ 2022 التي تنظمها الإدارة العامة للأوقاف بالتعاون مع مدرسة جاسم بن حمد الثانوية للبنين، وبإشراف وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي.

وخصصت الإدارة العامة للأوقاف 1.5 مليون ريال للفائزين في المسابقة، قابلة للزيادة إذا تطلب عدد الفائزين ذلك، وتتنوع الجوائز لتحفيز الفائزين وتشجيع المشاركين.

ويمكن تحميل استمارات المشاركة والبدء بالتسجيل على الموقع الإلكتروني الجديد للمسابقة اعتبارا من اليوم، على أن يكون آخر يوم للتسجيل هو 20 مارس القادم.

وفي مؤتمر صحفي بهذه المناسبة قال الشيخ الدكتور خالد بن محمد آل ثاني المدير العام للإدارة العامة للأوقاف، إن المسابقة تهدف إلى غرس حب النبي “صلى الله عليه وسلم” في نفوس المشاركين، والتعريف بمكارم الأخلاق ورفيع الآداب والأذكار، بالإضافة إلى إكسابهم مهارات الإلقاء والخطابة والفصاحة.

وأضاف أن المسابقة شهدت العام الماضي إقبالا واسعا، سواء من المدارس الحكومية أو الخاصة، ولم يقتصر الإقبال على الطلاب والطالبات فقط، بل شمل أولياء الأمور أيضا، فقد بلغ عدد المدارس المشاركة حوالي 380 مدرسة، وأكثر من 2500 مشارك، فاز منهم أكثر من 1400 مشارك.

كما أشار إلى إمكانية توسع المسابقة مستقبلا لتصبح دولية، على أن يكون التوسع مدروسا لأنها تستهدف فئة معينة وهي فئة الطلاب.

وتستهدف المسابقة الطلاب والطالبات وأولياء الأمور في عموم مدارس دولة قطر، وراعت فئاتهم العمرية، فتنوعت فروعها، وركزت على الأحاديث الجوامع التي تشتمل على أصول الدين من عقيدة وأحكام ومكارم أخلاق، ويعتبر كتاب الإمام النووي المشهور بالأربعين النووية ثم زيادات الإمام ابن رجب عليها، وكذلك كتاب بلوغ المرام للإمام ابن حجر من أجمع الكتب التي جمعت الأحاديث في هذا الشأن.

ويشترط للمشاركة في فئة الطلاب والطالبات أن يكون الطالب مسجلا في إحدى المدارس العاملة في دولة قطر سواء الحكومية أو الخاصة للمراحل الثلاث، ومشاركة المدرسة بـ12 طالبا كحد أقصى، وإعداد وتجهيز الطلبة المتقدمين للمسابقة والتأكد من استعدادهم للمنافسة، وحفظ الطالب الحديث والراوي والمخَرّج، وفقا للمستوى المشارك فيه، وقيام الطالب بالمشاركة العملية بما حفظ من الأحاديث النبوية في الأنشطة المدرسية المختلفة (الإذاعة المدرسية خاطرة الصلاة)، ويجوز لأي طالب من أي مرحلة دراسية، التقدم لأي مستوى يرغب في المشاركة فيه دون التقيد بالمرحلة الدراسية، ولا يحق للفائزين في أحد المستويات المشاركة في نفس المستوى، وتكون المشاركة في المستوى الأعلى.

في المقابل يشترط للمشاركة في فئة أولياء الأمور أن يكون المشارك وليا لأمر طالب مسجل في إحدى المدارس بالدولة سواء الحكومية أو الخاصة (بنين بنات) للمراحل الثلاث، ويجوز مشاركة أولياء الأمور سواء كان الأب أو الأم أو الاثنين معا، ولا يزيد عدد المشاركين في كل مدرسة عن 15 وليا وولية أمر.

وتتضمن المسابقة لفئة الطلاب والطالبات خمسة مستويات، المستوى الأول: حفظ عشرين حديثا مع الراوي وتخريج الحديث، المستوى الثاني: حفظ ثلاثين حديثا مع الراوي وتخريج الحديث، المستوى الثالث: حفظ أربعين حديثا مع الراوي وتخريج الحديث، المستوى الرابع: حفظ خمسين حديثا مع الراوي وتخريج الحديث، المستوى الخامس “النخبة” حفظ كتاب الجامع من كتاب بلوغ المرام من أدلة الأحكام للإمام ابن حجر العسقلاني مع الراوي وتخريج الحديث.

أما فئة أولياء الأمور فتتضمن مستويين: حفظ خمسين حديثًا مع الراوي وتخريج الحديث لمن لا يعمل إماماً بوزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية أو معلمًا للعلوم الشرعية في مدارس الدولة، والثاني كتاب الجامع من كتاب بلوغ المرام من أدلة الأحكام للإمام ابن حجر العسقلاني مع الراوي وتخريج الحديث لجميع أولياء الأمور.

يُشار إلى أن النسخة الأولى من المسابقة، والتي كانت في عام 2013، شهدت مشاركة 18 طالبا من 18 مدرسة، فيما شهدت نسخة العام الماضي أكثر من 2500 مشارك من حوالي 380 مدرسة، فاز منها أكثر من 1400 مشارك بجوائز المسابقة، وشهدت إقبالا للمشاركين من أولياء الأمور من الجنسين، ويتوقع أن يبلغ عدد المشاركين في نسخة هذا العام أكثر من 3000 مشارك.
